The artwork is beautiful but that's the high point of the game...

Now, I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade and I'll try to get across here what I mean with my little summary.

The game sure has some nice in game artwork and the title screen is very beautiful (but even some in game art looked kind of weird when it came to anatomy). That's all nice and dandy and I say that the artist did a great job. My problem is that for me, the art was all the game had going for it.

The maps are, quiet frankly, not good looking. They're just these waste empty spaces with little to no interactions available. Now I know this is supposed to be an abandoned place but when the maps are so big and filled with so little it makes you feel like you're running through an early test of a map that is not yet finished.

As I finished the game I felt the story was, for lack of better word, nonsensical. I could not make any sense of it and it felt more like there was a separated story for every part of the game. To put it simple, it felt like I was trying to puzzle it together but the pieces were from different puzzles and wouldn't fit with one another. In conclusion once I reached the heights of the story points I just couldn't find myself caring about it since I still did not know why I should even care about these characters or how they even fit together with one another. Though story is present it was too thin and vague to actually leave any impression at all.

The game play is okay for most part. There's nothing too aggravating with it and it flows on a good phase most of the time. The only thing I found myself ripping my hair out at was the fact that the save points were never pointed out as save points. There was no logic or even hint that those things are what you save at. I found them on a whim and that was after being killed once and having to start the entire thing all over.

I'm sure there was a lot of passion going into this game but I can't recommend it at all. It just felt like running through an empty void desperately looking for something that would make sense.
