The rivalry between Craze and LockeZ began centuries ago when the lifeless planet earth first began to spin and form the galaxy. In the sky, the very first star appeared. Neither LockeZ nor Craze was going to have any of that, and so they both jumped up to punch the universe back into eternal darkness, but they collided in mid-air. Each blamed the other, and while they were bickering, RPG Maker was invented.
They have finally decided to settle their dispute once and for all by facing off in an EPIC BOSS BATTLE.
Craze's team consists of four paladins, come to rescue Myra, a damsel in distress who was kidnapped and taken to Direvil Darkfort. LockeZ's team consists of four third-grade girls, who are really annoyed that none of the minions in their evil fortress believe that they're really darklords.
Players can play as either team, going through a different game depending on which party they play as - one game made by LockeZ and one made by Craze. The two parties will meet at the center of Direvil Darkfort and the player will fight the other team in a fantastic final boss battle.
For the first week after release, after playing both games, players were able to vote on which version they liked more. This was to establish once and for all who is the greatest game designer in the universe.
AND THE RESULTS ARE IN. CRAZE ARISES VICTORIOUS OVER THE EVIL OVERLORDS. LOCKEZ SLINKS BACK INTO A THOUSAND YEAR STASIS TO PLOT HIS REVENGE.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Interesting concept. I played both games, and in my opinion, the winner is...
...you both lose, for that hideous 1980s-Soviet-era font. I never thought I'd reach a point in my life where I'd have to say this, but Comic Sans would have been a better choice.
So I played both games and after thinking it for a while, I decided that my winner is...

Why Craze you ask? Because while LockeZ's story was more entertaining, his battles were easy once you figured out how to beat them, not to mention that they were longer than what they needed to.
Craze's game on the other hand, while there wasn't much to the story, it had some of the funniest moments in the latter parts, and even though the random battles were quite simple, the boss battles were very exciting! Not to mention difficult, which made me think the best strategy to beat the bosses. It also helped that there were cool non-RTP music in those battles, it really added to the excitement. So, congratulations Craze!
And I'm sorry LockeZ. It seems your little girls will be going to sleep sooner today! :D

Overly long battles .. no .. NO. JUST NO. I stopped. I stoppped before I finished the first battle because I knew I would only torture myself.

Well, the random encounters in that evil dimension section can occasionally approach the same length as LockeZ's ones, especially if your party is wounded after 3-4 battles like that and you would rather sacrifice a couple of turns instead of using your hefty potion supply. Other than that, though, there's no argument here.
I'll play it and see for myself, no worries. It becomes lengthy as well, I'll give you that.

OK, I just actually watched the videos again, and my battles are two to three minutes long while Craze's are about one minute long. He has four times as many of them though so it mostly evens out? Hmm. His total game is longer than mine by six minutes, and his extra boss takes seven minutes to kill.
Short battles tend to make buffs and ailments and healing and defense all be pretty worthless, so I definitely prefer fewer, longer fights, which you can probably tell by playing, like, any of my games from the past few years.
You're definitely allowed to prefer Craze's game, I just hope people didn't vote without playing both. :)

Actually the MS was promised to the people who declared for one or other of the teams in the declaration thread before voting began...though I think there was something for the silly teams too (which I think I put you in, Ilan), all in the name of fun, of course.
I don't think the survey site can actually tell who voted in relation to the users here.
The makerscore is real, but like nhubi said it's for the people who participated by joining a side in the thread. =) 10 for #TeamCraze, 5 for #TeamMagicalToMe (the others, including goofy ones).
