Destiny Quest

Unfortunately I have to hold off on the extended version of this game because I am having an error with RPG Maker 2003 Steam Version. I converted the project Destiny Quest Extended version over RPG Maker 2003. Set everything up correctly. For some reason on my this one town map I made, it won't add the new events if I save on the map during test play, then continue. I didn't have a problem with the previous maps doing this. Does anyone know what could be causing this, or if it is problem only with the steam version of RPG Maker 2003? I really don't want to start fresh again after fifty-three maps. If anyone knows what is causing this, or how to fix, please help me fix it. Thank you, and sorry about this.
