White Sky

*WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD*

I was shocked by the fact at how good this game was,I had expected a simple game with almost no story just about a little girl who has no friends finds and just finds new one but this game is so much more than that. White Sky itself is about a girl named Blanca who is the best student in town but is starting to hate everything in life including herself. On her way to school as you begin you get reminded by your father to not go to the colorful house next door and obviously you go in there to see a pink haired boy named Toby watching static. This hooked me I feel this is a very interesting plot to pull a player in and i like that it makes you wonder what happened to make this boy so messed up that everyone in town is afraid of him and that all he does all day is watch static alone in his house!

This game has its ups and downs and from what i have seen has complete set of custom tiles,sprites, and art which has a very distinct feel to it. The events that happen with Tony and Blanca let you get attached to Tony in a way i never thought I would when he laughed i laughed, when he was sad i was sad, and at the points in the story where you couldn't even help him all you could do was stand there I found myself screaming at my monitor wanting to help him. this game is amazing in it's distinct art and story but it does suffer in some areas which are mostly just game mechanic issues.

The fact that most of my decisions or choices have no effect whatsoever made me feel like that i didn't have any effect in way, the only time your choices matter is at the very end where with different actions you can get up too five endings in total.It's not the worst thing to happen but i feel it's confusing to have all these choices that mean nothing but my biggest problem with this game are the glitches. All the time i found myself being put places where i wasn't supposed to be in such as house or events would repeat themselves there are even a couple game breaking bugs that i found in the end game when your running away from Toby such as he couldn't hurt me in some areas and would put me in a corner of a wall where i couldn't move and he couldn't kill me so i had to reset my game or at the end knife battle with him when we were just to start fighting my character teleported outside into the blackness and Toby couldn't fight me and I couldn't fight him so once again i had to reset.

So in summary this game is absolutely beautiful great characters,art and when it played music. this game had me almost crying from what was happening to Toby and i love that it has it's flaws like not having much influence on the story but the biggest problem is the bugs and glitches if those could be fixed than i would give this game a 4.5 but that holds it back so 4.0 is the score i give it but i definitely recommend you playing it if you haven't.
