Welcome to the world of Escanta

A land known for being rich in it's products and firm in it's success.
Depending on the perspective, one could see it as the perfect land... that is, with the exception of the Crimson Blade, An outlaw with remarkable skill.
Their identity is unknown and now with the realm under threat against a mysterious force, a disposable team is formed to track and slay the blade.

This game takes control of the amnesiac template and twists it in an unthinkable way. You are a stranger who was found unconscious in the woods and is then immediately forced into the affairs of the realm... in the form of an execution.
The story isn't about finding out your past or helping you regain your memory. You are completely unimportant, a fact every person reminds you of constantly.
Everything that happens in the game could have possibly occurred without the input of your character.

If this is true then what place does a stranger hold in the world of Escanta?
Escanta may be oblivious to it's new stranger but there are those from the depths below who are aware...

This short game is more of an in-depth story than it is an RPG game. It aims to hold it's realism through the difficult game play.
The game will not automatically heal you after every battle, If you believe that you should buy more potions, weapons or armour then do so.
You are in control.

The series "Timelord Medieval" will be about your adventures through worlds.
Some may be primitive, some medieval, and some futuristic or in space.
Each game is connected. The choices you make in episode one will affect the entire game play of episode 2 and so on.

Features ⇨ An active turn-based battle system that requires your full input and focus for immersion.
Fully independent game play ⇨ You won't be told what to do or when to do it. If you choose to not buy new weapons before a battle and you die, then that is all on you.
Important choices that make you question the morality of your character and yourself.
♔ Choices are passed on to the other games, so every decision you make is important.

Well... these NPCs don't sound very nice if they're gonna constantly insult you and belittle your accomplishments. Sure, someone else might be able to do what you did (and thus make it seem trivial) but that doesn't mean you can't have pride in your success, right? That applies to real life and here.

Haha that's exactly the thing. You don't get a chance at success. If you defeat an enemy, your party gets the credit and not you.
It sounds distasteful but that's exactly the point. While each game is different, In this specific episode, the player character isn't actually the main character.
It puts a different spin on things.
Interesting game, some things sound complicated to execute properly as a dev, for example being "unimportant" or the "Fully independent gameplay" but it sounds awesome if you can do it well, the best of luck.

Thanks! :)
This game looks interesting. I'm going to download it. Also subscribed.
Yep, the announced features seem to be there, that was interesting, the main character felt a little irrelevant, he nods and accepts his fate a lot, the story is interesting, though.

I found a small "logical bug":
When this woman Leliana asks you to enter that old man's house, if you decide to disobey her, you can just get out of the map, coming back to the deep forest alone and going to the water will still trigger the event where she asks you to turn back.

If you go to the old man's place again(still alone) she will still talk to you.

I'd like to see the best of it, good luck.

The water part was meant to be intentional but I do see your point.
Thanks so much for the bugs!, If you find anymore please feel free to let me know! :)
Started playing the game recently, and I have a few thoughts.

I have to say, the 'comma after a question mark' that's repeatedly done here is extremely annoying. It's like that little pebble in your shoe that just pisses you off time and again, because even though it's just a small thing, you still know something's wrong. A question mark shouldn't be followed by a comma. That's just bad - and distracting - grammar.

As for something a bit more tame, and a cause of more bemusement than anything else - did you lift the weapon shop owner's line in the first town straight from Skyrim? Seems like it anyway.

Anyway, a few suggestions - if you're still working on the game anyway. There's a bit too much of a pause between dialogue boxes and scenes switching and moving on. Reducing the time would probably help somewhat. Heck, speeding up the text would too. Just little things like that. Storywise ... eh. One bit of advice would be to have scenes be more connected - going from robbing a dude's house, to suddenly blacking out, to suddenly being told you murdered groups of people, torture, etc. ... it's all very awkward. I get that you were probably going for a bit of a mystery/conspiracy vibe, but as it is it just feels like it's tacked on, rather than an organic part of the story. We go 'wake up, oops you have amnesia, oops you're a slave to this outlaw, oops she forced you to rob a dude's house, oh you blacked out, oh wait now you're in a dungeon about to be tortured for multiple counts of murder, oh wait now you're safe'. Too much of a rollercoaster of ups and downs, you know? No real time to absorb the situation, the pace is so fast. Another is the very informed nature of how much everyone hates you in the town - we have an old lady consoling you that she doesn't hate you that much, a kid saying her mother told her not to talk with you, and generally neutral/apathetic responses with one guy who actually tells you off - and he's an aristocrat, so for all we know that's just him being pissed a commoner's bothering him.

If he's hated, show it.

To touch on a further point, the conversations he has with his benefactors and/or adversaries so far seems to lack a certain level of ... feeling, to it. There seems to be no energy or care there.

Hopefully, this post and my talk of my impressions of the beginning portions of the game helped. If not, oh well.

Also, a bit of an aside - but is there really no equipment for the MC in the first town? What does he use to fight, anyway?

Thank you so much for the suggestions and the critique!, It's always nice to receive responses both good and bad; That's the only way to truly improve.
I've taken all your statements into consideration and will surely implement them into the game so hopefully by the next upload, it will all be fixed!

Help OwO
I think i'm stuck :o
I was in this cave after defeating these goblins and getting these 2 men called Lendoran and Fenir. I didn't get what to do in that cave so i went outside and am now in ''Hell''

Hmm where exactly were you before you teleported to "Hell"? I'll do my best to have it all fixed in the next upload :)
Also in the battle with that ''Death'' guy.
At first he was on my right and now he's behind me after fighting these goblins.
If you open the chest from the right or the left it opens.
Even tough it says that it is locked.
This is at the beginning after waking up and have to steal the items from that merchant.
Oh and your data in the game are really easy to manipulate.
I can if I wanted to change the the money the mobs give me and how much the items cost.
I can also change the level of the characters in the game from the beginning to lvl 99.
You should try to lock these data.
I did enjoy it. Waiting for continuation!!!

Thanks so much for the screenshots!, It'll help me to fix the situations :)

Also there isn't a way to lock RPG MV files and honestly, while I enjoyed making this game, I doubt that there is anything special about the files. If you want to go and change the data to your liking then that is your choice but it wouldn't be the original game plan, you know?

I know but it won't just destroy the game play for the player, it can make serious bugs in the game if you change some data.
Like nonstop crashes or not getting away from that single screen and so.
