"Why?"

TooManyToasters once said, and I quote, “Why.” There is perhaps no better way to review this game. In all seriousness, I gave this game a try. My initial reaction is, “Why make this in RPG Maker?” The answer is very obvious: It's easy to do.
The game begins. The title screen strikes me as interesting; though partially blocked by the RTP text box. Ever-so-fitting for a Tic-Tac-Toe game.
You have these for options:
-Save
-2-Player Mode
-Check # of Wins
-Quit

After stifling the pressing need to select option 4, I move to 2-Player mode. Alright, so assuming my right half of the brain is playing the left; we move on. Testing the win/lose code as well as trying to use the same square, and drawing. The game plays well. By well, of course, I mean... as well as Tic-Tac-Toe can in RPG Maker. However, the graphics hold you back a bit, as instead of making a perfect grid and aligning the selection arrow perfectly to the grid... we get a sloppy haphazard arrow that stumbles across the board like a drunk.
Maybe the only props I will give this game is to the music selection. The lack of credits leaves me wondering where those were stolen from.

Again, we come to the troublesome quote that started this whole mess; “Why.” When you decide to download Tic-Tac-Toe RM2k3, because you and your chum have nothing better to do than swap a laptop back and forth; do yourself a favour and follow these simple instructions:
-Find a sheet of paper
-Find a pencil or two different coloured pens
-draw a # on the paper
-have fun.

This could probably improve to 1 full star if the game had a 1 player (Player x Computer) mode.

I hope that wasn't too harsh. It just doesn't belong as a full game. It might have been passable as a minigame, within a game. However, a whole download of 3.26 MB for a 2-player game of tic tac toe? @_@ Geez.
On the plus side, it IS indeed possible that someone 8cough me cough* downloads this to read the eventing 'n stuff... But I won't. Not now. Only after
I format my PC. =w='
If you can't code a tic-tac-toe, you're a total noob.

Variables and branches.
