Jaguars vs. Broncos 2013 Odds: Denver A Massive Favorite
With the Broncos surging and the Jaguars struggling, Denver is a four-touchdown favorite against Jacksonville.
At 5-0 and with the best offense in the NFL, the Denver Broncos would likely be favored regardless of their opponent. Playing at home against the 0-5 Jacksonville Jaguars resulted in Denver being the biggest favorite in NFL history.
The Broncos opened as a 27-point favorite according to Odds Shark which the Associated Press reported is the biggest spread in NFL history. Some oddsmakers had Denver as a 28-point favorite to open. The Broncos allowed 48 points last week, but the offense more than masks the defensive issues. Denver is averaging 46 points per game this season, nearly 36 more than the 10.2 points per game the Jaguars have produced.
This isn't the first time the Broncos have been a heavy favorite this season. Denver was favored by at least 10 points twice already this season. The Jaguars were an underdog in all five games, including 19-point underdogs against Seattle. The Jaguars have yet to cover a spread while Denver is 3-2 against the spread this season.
With the Broncos expected to light up the scoreboard, the total was set at 52 points. The total went over in all five games Denver played this season and two of Jacksonville's three road games.

Lol, poor Jacksonville...
They're going to get crushed, in more ways than just one.
Denver 67
Jacksonville 12
(Jags with just the four field goals.) :)
Next time: More guys arbitrarily crashing into each other and getting overpaid for it, like always. Exciting!
Not.
Not.
That was a snoozer! (Didn't actually get to see it, since I had no electricity.) The Red Sox-Tigers game, on the other hand, instant classic. Go Sox!
It was a pretty lacklustre game, I’ll admit. But holy crap – the Jags actually managed to hang in there and not cover the historical spread (darn)! *rips up his ticket*
And yeah, I did manage to catch a little of Game 2 of the Bo-Sox & Tigers game only to cry when David Ortiz managed to tie the game up and eventually propelled the Red Sox to a win. :(
And it looks like they just managed to win game 3 as well.
…I’m going to go cry in the corner for a little bit.

Yeah, the Broncos D is a bit suspect. Allowing 300 yds to the lowest rated QB in the league ...
I didn't know you were a Tigers fan. I'm going out on a limb and call the WS: BoSox in 6 over Cards
Also, Mexico really got lucky by the goals that the US scored in added time. Unless they get their act together, the Kiwis will get to the World Cup instead of them. Bosnia-Herzegovina will make their first appearance (take that Serbia!). There are still some more playoffs to determine the last 11 to join the 21 already qualified. Whew!

Oh, I'm not a Tigers fan; I just wanna experience what it's like to pick a winner from season's beginning to end (although, at the moment, it doesn't look too good. Damn Red Sox! X_x)
...Damn it.
To makes things even more worse for wares, the Broncos lost and the Canucks lost - all on the same day!
- WHAT A WEEKEND! :(
(Guess I'll be rooting for the "Cards" now.)

If not for Peyton Manning, I'd root against the Broncos. They've been my 2nd most hated team other than the Cowboys. On the other hand, the Chiefs (courtesy of Joe Montana) are my 2nd favorite team. Sorry, but hockey's been a sport I've never understood enough to care for it (I went to a Boston Bruins game vs. I forget who, with my brother and Dad, who we were trying to please; must have been the most boring 1-0 hockey game ever!).
