Could someone Darken these.
Hey, So i would post this in my "For rpgmaker 2003" topic
but...its not..eventing help its...Tileset help..something completely different..right?
What ever...Can people darken the things WITH the Red X's on them
I know what your thinking. How are we ment to darken them if they have a red X on them there completely ruined..Dont worry. Top one Without red X's Bottom one with the red X's. I Would do it, but i dont know how to shade very well..well..at all.
I should, tell you details .
Just make them darker as if they were insde a cave. Such as.
Example
WITHOUT red X's
WITH Red X's
Any help will be appreciated.

EDIT: Just had a thought i could use tint, but it dosnt work. right before it tints it shows the original colour of the tile sets and once you leave the room it dosnt stay tinted..so yeah this needs to be done to get the right effect..still looking for an example..please wait.

Ok so i just noticed that this was here(yes..I take notice(sarcasm))
and i thought i better post here. you know saying
"hey im a noob, teach me things"
but to anyone who has read any of my post, knows i need teaching or at least a firm smack around the head for my utter stupidity.
But yeah.
So i come from Australia. I love games...all time favourite game, Final Fantasy.
Now im not just any ff lover..Im trying to collect the WHOLE series there has not been one that yet that i dont like.(main series, not the spin offs, such as tatics chocobo tales, Crystal Chronicles)I have 8 through to 14(dont play it though. for one my net is too slow -.-')dont have 11. Cant find it. Getting 7 this thursday actually so FF7 Fanboys/girls...Back off. i dont wanna be raided with.

Game Story: Advice Wanted.
Hey, Just want some advice on my story.
NOTE: It is a Work in progress
Game is called Crystal Memories(May or may not change it)
Story: You play as a 17 your old boy who has no idea who he is or where he is. You are found by a desert woman
who helps you up and gets you back to camp.
A dream you have reaveling your name and that a man is after you for reason that you are unclear of.
You find out that The Man from your dreams is from a Secret Organization They are pretty much Criminals, Thugs, Mercs funded by an unknowen source
You find out that it is you that holds the power to find the Crystal Heart, Which,
in legends is the Crystal that gives immortality
to the person who finds it
It is now your Destiny to find it before they do.

Advice, help, tips, pointers.

AIRXZENS QUESTION TOPIC!
Okay. Noob question time!
New Question:(Unsolved)
Okay, So, My main Character has a skill Command i (for now)
call Chain.
What happens is, Every time he use's the Fight command.
the Variable Chain goes up by 1.
When Variable chain reaches a certain number a skill gets added to the
Chain Command.
Now i know how to make it so that when he uses one Chain Ability, ALL of the Chain Abilitys go away.
But i want it so that only the "Chain Points" Go down.
EXAMPLE!
Total Chain Points = 10
Chain Abilities:(These are only examples)
Bash = 5 Chain points
Smash = 10 Chain points
He Uses Bash.
Take 5 chain points away from 10
Which then makes the total of chain points 5.
And in result of that. Smash Gets taken away from the Chain Abilities(Not greyed out, but removed) Because there is not enough Chain points for it but Bash stays because there is.
But once there is 10 chain points total Smash will return.
How do i make this possible?

So, im working on a game(with Rpg maker2003) and realised, Im Screwed.
I Cant Map, I cant sprite, I cant Script.
what i can do is.
1. Give Rough Drawings of characters
2. I can tell people what to do in a kind way
3. Basic things in RPG maker 2003, such as,
Importing files, doing skill animations, Some events,
Such as, moving a character from one point to another.
Going in & out a store. using a store. starting a battle.
Fading in & out, Basic Switches ect.
4. I can talk. So Communication wont be a problem (hehe)
So. want i want in a person
well, I want someone who can talk. Not someone who is like
"PISS OFF LET ME DO MY WORK"
2. Someone who knows when to take a break.
3. someone good at what they do, either it being, Scripting, Spiriting or mapping.
4. some who can take a joke
5. Someone with some other means of communcating, other then this site.
Such as, MSN, Skype. Yahoo.

Now i have NOT completed another game on RPG maker before & its for this exact reason, I cant do the things necessary to complete it, The maps look so bad, im always thinking of different ways of doing things because well, i cant do them one way. I cant script. I cant sprite.

So yeah if you fit that profile then. I would love your help.
So just reply to this saying your willing to help.
In the mean time, ill continue writing things down & doing the world map.
