I usually do orchestral compositions, so I do work hand in hand with actual orchestras... we could call those guys my physical samplers!

Mind sending me something you composed? I'd love to hear that, my laziness is more like "Hm... I can't think of a melody... LET'S GET POLYRHYTHMIC AND ATONAL IN HERE"

Anime List

What's your favorite anime series?
Hm... I can't narrow it down to one, so I'd have to narrow it down to a few.
Clannad: Made me cry... didn't quite like the ending, but it's tough to make me cry!
Azumanga Daioh: Made me laugh way harder than I should have.
Monster: Just sublime, I loved the dark atmosphere, the complicated plot, and even though it's long (for someone with my attention span/schedule), I found myself not wanting to stop watching.

And finally *drum roll*
Garzey's wing: Because WHY NOT? It's the birdemic of anime!

What's your favortie anime movie?
5 centimeters per second: Beautifully animated, very good script. The story is somewhat generic, but really beautiful and touching.

What anime are you currently watching or what was the most recent one you enjoyed?
Denpa teki na kanojo: Finished it recently. Some quite random stuff, but I really liked it. Very well achieved. Very weird.

What's your favorite cartoon outside of Japanese and American cartoons?
Peppa pig, because I'm about as immature as it gets, and that makes me laugh!

[REQUEST] Resources for a horror/creepypasta game

I'm not sure if those characters have theme music of their own but I'm a music composer, looking to expand my portfolio, and I'd gladly write a few haunting themes or small motifs for whenever the characters appear.

If you want, all I need is for you to tell me more or less what you have in mind: How long they need to be, weather you need them to loop or not, that kind of thing. Taking a look at what you have so far would also help with inspiration.

I can also make broader music, if that's the right way to say it, for the environments where the game will take place, but I'd need to have the details and hopefully see part of it before I get to work with that (First comes the game, then I make the music to fit into it hehe).

You can contact me on my email: alejawerbaum@gmail.com

Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I guess I'll poke around, try and see if anyone needs a hand. I'm a bit new to this kind of thing so I gotta admit it's kinda scary!

Another (lazy and unprofessional) musician saying "yo"!

Aren't we all (musicians) lazy and unprofessional? Hahahaha I mostly use Sibelius, I recently... "legally acquired"... Sonar. Gotta install some better samplers, though they're quite heavy, and see what I can do with this thing!

Hey guys! I'm not sure what to say so as to introduce myself. You can call me Alex. I'm not much of a hardcore gamer, at least not as much as I used to, but I still love games, mainly RPGs (and I do have soft spot for horror games).

Anyways, I made an account here with one main purpose: I'm a musical composition student, my main focus is academic music, but I'd like to offer my music to anyone who needs or wants an original composition in their game!

I'm not a professional, just a student, but I promise to meet any deadlines that aren't "FOR TOMORROW". I know original music is rarely a priority, but some of us get tired of hearing Satie's gymnopedies appear in every other game >.<

Nice to meet you all!

PS: Here's soundcloud with a few of my hits (with crappy samplers, because... yeah... life)
