Especially works that use resources made by/for the developers themselves, such as Homework Salesman and Reincarnation. (I think?)

So, this is suppose to represent the future? Wood wouldn't be a common resource. In fact, wood probably wouldn't be used at all. Unless, this is only a few years into the future (which is possible because I didn't read the story).

I don't think that necessarily has to be the case. In Star Wars Yoda walks with a wooden cane and the wookie homeworld is full of wooden structures. It would be dependent on the culture of the people in question. Maybe the finest wood table or chair is preferred for comfort/decoration purposes over hard plastic or metal. Why do some writers prefer to hand-write their novels on paper rather than type them out? Economy can be a factor as well. Maybe if a jungle planet's most abundant natural resource is wood people will make use of it. Of course the use of wood would dwindle but I doubt it would disappear completely

Technically the OP was operating within his given rights when he posted this blog. He's right. There are no guidelines or restrictions governing the content of blog posts. However, it's also pretty simple to understand the concept of working in a shared space. When people share an environment together, certain expectations will be held by the overall community. These expectations may not be backed by written laws or rules but may rather be character traits assumed to be shared by people who operate together under a common theme.

I don't think the OP should have had his post trolled with sarcastic remarks but he shouldn't have shut out the people simply advising him to better his blog. Now a freedom could be lost because this incident shows signs of an abused privilege. I think a little humility should always come before the root of all problems: ego. =)
