[RM2K] Just started on a game called "Freedom Under Silence."

It's the dystopian RPG title where the hero, Santiago, and his fam are going to save the whole visual arts history from unnecessary restriction of pure doom!

Their message is to save your creative freedom from senseless idiots! Tim Bryan, the new governor, has put on some restrictions on what you can view, and what you cannot! The industry's fate is all in your own hands!

I have a question!

author=pianotm
It requires admin access. PM Liberty or Kentona. They let you change usernames if you ask nicely.

Alright, I could do that! :)

I have a question!

How do I change my username? I want to change it to AnimeLovingMatt02, which is my Slime Salad username. I kinda retired the Creator-Matt pen-name and I want to use cyber.matt for my official work.

[RM2K] I'm about to work on The Stinky Stan Incident again because of procrastination.

I have recently designed the Drunk Psycho. He's presumably in his 50s, and he has a broken bottle as a weapon.

I also need voice actors, starting with the protagonists and the key antagonist

Joey Shepard - He speaks like he's from Missouri.

Sara Harmon - She talks like a Juggalette.

DeReece Woods - He is black, so we need an actor who can correspond.

Nina Becker - A person who could pull of a great Southern accent.

Stinky Stan - He talks like a mad scientists

[RM2K] How can I translate my own game into other languages? I want to have my games available in other languages!

You would need to have the font installed in the maker.
Then you can choose how you want to distribute the game.

For RPG Maker, I think it would be easier to make each game separate for each language.

The other choice is to put each language into one game, which might be difficult to program, ie. switching from one language or another.

Alright, but I have the Steam version of RM2K, and I don't think I can add Japanese text or diacrtics on my Latin text for my works, nor could I add Chinese, Korean, Thai, Cyrillic, Abjad, Hebrew, Devanagari (used in several languages of India), Tamil, or Telugu text. I would love to see my works become translated.

I'll be working on a Japanese version because I am studying it.

Do I have to release it in romanized Japanese? I want people to read kanji, hiragana, and katakana.

Because of me being a hardcore anime/manga and Nintendo fan, I want to move to Japan for creative work.

But how is it possible to add diacritics for other versions, such as the Spanish version using the "ñ" (pronounced en-ya) letter?"

[RM2K] TBH, I don't know how to do a couple of things.

Here's a way you can do the credits. I used this in Rpg Maker 2003 but it would work in 2000 as well. You can do it by making images of your credits (I used GIMP to do this), and then display them as pictures. Here's how it looked.

Show Picture: 1, Credits 1
Wait: 5.0 seconds
Erase Picture: 1, Credits 1
Wait: 1.0 seconds
Show Picture: 1, Credits 2
Wait: 5.0 seconds
Erase Picture: 1, Credits 2

and repeat as many times as needed. And at the the end, return to title screen.

I can't answer all your questions except the first one. Pacing. Super important. Don't have scenes that blurt out at the speed of light. Using the Wait command is your friend. That's about all the advice I can give without knowing your games story/plot.

I will be doing that.

[RM2K] TBH, I don't know how to do a couple of things.

1. How to make cutscenes like a typical JRPG game.
2. How to make minigames as seen in Yume Nikki.
3. How to make opening logos before I get to the title screen.
4. How to make ending credits.
