One I see a lot and which bothers me to no end:
Would have / Would of
Ex: "I would have bought FFX-2, but I didn't want people to think I suffer from mental retardation"
Too many people write "Would OF" instead of "Would HAVE".

I am all for Kars keeping his avatar, and Harmonic keeping Ayla. I mean, it's Ayla, for crissakes. It's not like he can have her in a robe and you still be able to know who she supposedly is... her fur outfit is pretty much HER.

I can do plenty of distinct voices. I'm no Mel Blanc, but I can stretch the vocal chords enough to where it's not everyone sounding like the same guy.

my complaint is not only the fact that they call the guy Slade, but that this Slade always somehow happens to be some mysterious guy who we're supposed to think is cool because he fights on his own terms and he is somehow "mysterious" and "dark"... and over HALF of them are vampire hunters, for no reason other than "Hey, Slade was all I could think of, and it's COOL!"

I think that's because it already carries its' own reputation with Dragon Warrior I.

Yeah, there definitely needs to be a law against characters named Slade.
I mean, who STARTED that trend? I wish I could say that INITIALLY it was a cool name, but no, it's pretty much always been a lame character name! I would write in a character in my game called Slade ONLY to have the man commit suicide because he can't live with the torture of being called that and not have the right to change his name to something respectable or even NORMAL.
It would go something like:
"Hi, welcome to my shop! what can I get for you?"
"your nametag says Slade...*snicker*"
"You... you bastard! It's not my fault my parents didn't love me!"
"wait... man, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE PAIN OF CARRYING THIS HORRIBLE NAME! IN THE WORLD OF NAMING, MINE RANKS BETWEEN "Drew Peacock" and "Hugh G. Rection" IN TERMS OF SILLINESS! THAT'S IT! NO ONE IS GOING TO LAUGH AT SLADE VAMPIREKILLER ANYMORE!
