Having problems getting Dark Ixion. I read the spawn locations but kinda confused about some. Could you please clarify the directions?

is it possible to look at equipment in your inventory and see who can equip the items? like in FF6 you could hold a button over a weapon and it would show who all can equip it

ok so the castle is destroyed in both present and past. I cant remember if I talked to the guys in the stables, but there is no feather or black chocoboco in the forest by the undead castle
