I'm generally okay with Assassin's Creed games, but, Black Flag was really meh for me. Like, the only thing I liked about it over the last iteration of that series was making viewpoints matter.

That's probably the only "pirate game" I've played, to be honest.

*Edit: It probably didn't help Black Flag that I absolutely hated navigating the boat in AC3, and AC4 was almost literally nothing but sea navigation!

Actually,
I don't mind em. I think, I liked most of my encounters with them in both games and films. Still, I'm always slightly discouraged, when I see a game about pirated around here with all the flags and hoorays.
