Here's a bit of constructive critique. Firstly, you've got it set inside a volcano. Great location! A lot can be done with that idea - just look at Heros Realm for example. The problem with this map - and there are quite a few of them - would be the bland mapping. There are no details that give the allusion to being inside said volcano. The snow-fence wouldn't be in a volcano, the glass/see-through floors are just odd. Is it supposed to be a lava waterfall? But then the ice and glass makes no sense. The only good thing in this screen shot are the character sets, but they can't be the main selling point of a game. It just doesn't make sense, even with the description you added. Find another way to convey the images in your mind to the player. Even custom stuff would be better than this.
You are the one that chose this shot to represent your game. Is this how the rest of the game looks? If so, I'm not so sure the staff were being mean to you so much as being nice to the rest of us.
THE GAME is fine. In order to understand the screenshot you must PLAY THE GAME. Judging something is bad because you don't understand it is BAD.

Because the internet fuses with a volcano so well, that rmn staff can't handle it.
You have a game using 2 bit graphics getting accepted pass mine. Obviously, mine is better looking. This makes me wonder what the staff is smoking.
