Star Wars Episode VII (as well as VIII and IX!)
Adventure Academy
I have gone through the two dungeons and the flashback sequence. The characters already promoted the first time, Eric into a Warrior and Natalie into a Mage, and they currently meet the requirements for Spellblade and White Mage respectively. I don't recall any particular event having happened immediately before I encountered this bug.

Speaking of related stuff in the sale. Does this mean that stuff like ILM is also owned by Disney now or were they already an independent company (didn't Pixar start out on the Ranch at one point?)
author=Someone who works at ILM, after being asked the same question with different wording.
I suppose so.. although we will still be maintaining creative autonomy, much like how Pixar works. So to that respect, I still work for ILM, much like how those who work for Pixar, work for Pixar. On the plus side, I hear we get free unlimited passes to Disneyland parks, so that's not a bad deal. XD

JRPG healers need to become more like the western battle cleric. Yes, they heal, but they'll also bash your face in with a rusty mace if you mess with them.
And Avee, that is so horribly biased it was actually kinda painful to read. Gotta love how it's painfully obvious that whoever made that deliberately chose screenshots that looked bad in the production values part of the WRPG side.
WRPGs and JRPGs really are two different genres with some overlap, not two facets of the same genre. They focus on different things and as such deliver different experiences. I wish people would see that so this idiotic war would stop.
And this whole genre classification is flawed, especially since so many gomes right now take elements from different established genres. I mean, is Mass Effect an RPG or a third person shooter? Most people will say the former, and that is how it's officially classified, but why is it not the latter, despite having all the necessary gamplay elements to qualify for it?

Games we need to get over
Oh, that's just the start. Lemme make a small list of what is wrong with Gen 1 Pokémon, beginning with the factors that make the Psychic type so horribly broken.
And that's all I remember right now. But I'm sure there's more.
- Ghost is supposed to be the designated weakness of Psychic, but the only Ghost type family in the game is also Poison type, so they end up being weak to Psychic instead.
- The only Ghost move that doesn't do set damage, Lick, does pitiful damage, and it doesn't matter because of some oversight when coding the type reations that made Psychic types actually immune to Ghost instead of weak to it.
- Bug's the other type Psychic's weak to. But the only Bug attacks worth using are on a bug that's useless past early game and is also Poison type, and an Electric type with negligible Attack stat.
- The only type that resists Psychic is Psychic itself.
- Special is a stat that determines both your attack and defense for special attacks. This makes this stat better than the others and makes things like Amnesia horribly broken.
- Critical rate is determined by the Speed stat, and calculated in a ridiculous way. Razor Leaf and other high crit moves on a high level pokemon will always crit.
- The Dragon type is an offensive non-entity. The only Dragon type move in the game, Dragon Rage, does set damage.
- Blizzard has 120 power, 90% accuracy, and a 30% freeze chance. (Luckily GSC nerfed it.)
- Freeze status stops you from taking actions and is impossible to cure without items, making it basically count as a kill.
- A bug makes Hyper Beam skip the recharge turn if it's a killing blow. This is the main reason why Normal types are so good in this game.
And that's all I remember right now. But I'm sure there's more.
Games we need to get over
Pokémon Red and Blue. And this is coming from a hardcore Pokémon fan.
Sure, they started the series, and the newest games still use the same core mechanics. I am grateful for starting someone I love so much, of course.
But if anyone goes on harping about how they were the best in the series and the subsequent games are nothing compared to the originals, I will rightfully assume they are dressed in nothing but many layers of nostalgia goggles.
Truth is, Red and Blue are horribly broken games thet only miraculously manage to hold themselves together. Insane balance oversights (Though present day Game Freak is still guilty of this, though not as much. Stealth Rock anyone?) and ridiculous glitches make a game that was built with the multiplayer as one of its main components an imbalanced mess.
Some of the many glitches actually are bad enough to make the game fall apart, mostly because of crappy memory allocation practices that let wildly different types of data be saved in the same memory locations. The original Pokémon games are type error time bombs.
Now, I'm not saying the games are bad. They're not, and I can still enjoy them. But to say that they are the peak of the series is delusional. The Pokémon series only became something mechanically coherent with Gold and Silver.

Do we need to use trigonometry to design games ?
Not sure if serious, but I'll bite.
The part of mathematics that allows you to know the size of all sides of a right triangle, if you know the size of one side and the amplitude of one of its angles.
Wiki here. It's kind of a big deal.

Adventure Academy
A bit of an update on that bug. Turns out it's permanent. The end of July is when it first happens, but if you go around the problem by going into town as I said, from then on, choosing to work or go to classes at any time after that also freezes the game.
Adventure Academy
I got stuck during the game. It happened in July of Year Two, when I got the option to go on a summer vacation. Choosing that or working makes the events go on as normal, but the game doesn't get to the next month and just shows the background. You can open the menu as if you were on the map, though. Choosing to go into town and explore doesn't cause this bug and lets the game go into August normally. It's a decent workaround now, but you should look into it, as most players will want to go on vacation.
I've also got some other minor things to talk about, but since none of them breaks the game, I'll save them for when I beat the game once.
