Hey, there! My DerKIAS
I'm an indie game dev from germany developing games in my free time. I started wroking on games back in 2005 with the RPG Maker 2003 and I immediatly fell in love with the possibility to create a world and tell a story that was build in my own mind! As a kid of the 90's I grew up with the legendary SNES and played every awesome game there was from Zelda - A Link to the Past to Secret of Mana, Terranigma, Chrono Trigger and so on. As a child I wanted to create my own game and wanted it to be just as awesome as the wonderful games I've played or maybe even better and when I disocvered the RPG Maker I finally had a chance to actually turn that dream into reality :) I worked on various games throughout the years and since june 2017 I'm working on my passion project "The Seventh Warrior" a classical retro RPG which is inspired by all the legendary SNES RPG's and also PS1 RPG's which made my childhood awesome! ;) I'm working alone on this title and I appreciate any support I can get to make this game come true! The Seventh Warrior
The Seventh Warrior tells the story of "Dark", a demon prince who nearly conquered the world a thousand years ago but got sealed away in the end. Now the seal is broken and he is back to business!

Thank you @dasgibtesnet! He is referring to the 1000 year long sleep he was trapped in a seal before. This cutscene is not the beginning of the game or so. Everything will be clearly understandable when playing the game :)

Swimming!!

This is super awesome but I have to ask - does he just have those wings for show?
That is a justified question^^ His wings aren't just for show, but Dark can't fly like a bird or something. However, he can "hover" for a short while and can cross smaller chasms and stuff that way. Kinda like Raziel from Soul Reaver, if you know that game. :)
Also, after Dark's 1000 year long sleep, he won't be able to do everything he could do back then. Think of it as a coma, where you "forget" how to do specific things and have to remember how to do it or learn it anew to get these skills back. It is kinda like that. And so Dark won't be able to swim, hover, climb and stuff right after he awakes until he remembers how to do it or learns anew how to do it. That's the idea ;)

Wait what? A swimming protagonist?!? What were you smoking?! Its obvious that normal- oh right i am using the word normal for dark....
Anyways i think its awesome you can swim now... I just hope there will be no instances of swimming on land ;) And that it is actually used more than once... =P

Haha, thank you! xD I must have smoked something because I just made my workload much bigger ^^ I hope so too xD But there shouldn't be any cases of land-swimming :P And yeah, you can swim whenever there is water around ;) As of now there are many places in the current demo where you can swim.
