Game Submission problems
I seem to be getting the same problem that Max McGee had with submitting Mage Duel. I've just tried to submit Intellia for the second time. I don't see any success message. Please help?
I might try again later with a different browser (currently on Google Chrome).

Opinions on coloured message text
I just discovered how to make text coloured in RPG Maker XP. I'd like to know if you find coloured text in messages useful or annoying, so I can decide on a consistent appearance. Any opinions would be helpful. Thanks!
Intellia: in progress
Hello! Third post on this site!
I've been working away at RPG Maker XP for a while now and I have definitely created *something* that ought to end up as a finished game. If not, it will be released in episodes, perhaps.
When is it usual to create an entry for this game? At the moment you can battle some rats and watch a few cutscenes (most of my time went on creating coding infrastructure and finding ways to do things).
If I released it as it is now, would you try it out?
I find it hard to describe since I don't really know what the types of RPG mean. If you ever played Shining Force or Shining Force 2, it's inspired by that. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shining_Force)
It's a story about a prince, a young mage, a kingdom in turmoil, and the nature of magic. It features a Quest Log, Skill storage and retrieval, and limited custom graphics, particularly icons and RTP sprites.

Hello.
Hi, RPG Maker community :)
I downloaded RPG Maker XP recently out of curiosity, and to satisfy my creative urges. I will need to experiment a lot, but might well produce something playable in the end. Also I am playing through games hosted here which catch my eye.
Is there a convenient list of links that would help me get 'up to speed' with game design? Should I read all the tutorials on the site?
Thanks in advance

edit: I will be working through the games here in order of when they were completed, and leaving reviews :)
edit:
I play XSketch (xsketch.com), an online pictionary game. Films, books, music not so much. I've always had an interest in designing games (not so much on the computer though) - I once created a working card game after watching an episode of Disney's "Recess" in which they played a collectible card game called Ajimbo.

An interest in RPG making is obvious if you joined this site: tell us something about you. What other interests do you have?
