Yeah just use a parallel process and then erase event or switch it off.

Or if it's just at the start of the game just set the starter characters in the System Tab of the database.

I have an always on event on the map but it whenever it is there, my party cannot move. What can I do to resolve this issue?

NES and SNES controllers were unbreakable... And then the N64 came, and we had to buy new controllers every month

I've had my N64 controllers ever since I got it and they still work.
