About the mirrors, that got me from day 1 but I forgot to mention it.
Possible options:
-Some countries use mirrors on narrow street corners so that you can see around the corner when driving/biking. So a corner mirror still works. You just need to be careful with placement. IMO this would be restrictive of how you can design your maps and it'd be a huge amount of work.
-A car/truck with an open door. While it's kind of superpowered for people to be able to bank a shot off a car door, the game already has some unrealistic elements so I say why not.
-Any object. Just have an icon or something mark it as a ricochet point. Flo is just that good with a gun.

I have seen uglier and more flawed games get 5 stars. Hell, I have seen a ton of unambitious generic games get 5 stars.

That's down to the reviewer, not the game. I guffaw at the ratings some games get when the usual argument in their favour often boils down to "This LPer with millions of subs played it on his channel so 5/5!". To pick on instantly recognisable things, remember that FF13, Justin Beiber albums and Twilight movies are all extremely popular. Should they be? I say hell no. But even some RM games have shown me that some people are just super easily influenced by hype and numbers.

Ugh, the karma patrol thing will haunt me to my grave. I wish I could just cover the memories in karma petrol and light them on fire. I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake.

About the accents and mannerisms, I paid some attention to character personalities and such when making suggestions. It wasn't my job to change Oldpat's characters. I was just there to look for bugs and correct spelling and grammar without a lot of time just like Cave Dog says. That, and I rather liked the character personalities and quirks as they were.

If I saw a line like "Free ice for grass!?", I'd ask for clarification and use context to draw my own conclusions. If it's a language I'm more familiar with like French then I would try to deduce what cross-language synonyms were causing the problem but for Italian, I'm completely in the dark. I watched/read a bunch of Gunslinger Girl but I doubt that would help. So I apologize if some lines read strangely. I read everything back to myself and had no problem understanding them.

I hope that provides some context for how the work was done.
