In the great shrine, what is the route for the maze to obtain the shield?
Did you talk to the drakies they tell you the path, but make sure you read what they say exactly how to traverse through the maze.

One of the listed recipes for Kingslime is Slime + Slime... and yet, the only way to create a Slime involves using a Slime in the process.

Therefore, am I to believe that at some point in the game I will be offered the chance to breed with an NPC Slime?

I'm planning to create Hargon, and all the possible routes I'm seeing really hinge on my ability to breed with a Slime somewhere down the line.

Near the end of the game you will get a town with a lady who has a slime for breeding purposes.... Also that town is going to be visited alot........

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

A question to you fellow players, has anyone else besides mah self dare to do the Who Needs the Church achievement and complete?

If so try to do this and you will be GREATLY! rewarded early on...

You will fail to get this achievement if you used any of the church services before talking to the ACHIEVEMENT MAN!!!! =D

Lastly, this is mah favorite achievement... >=|

The zone before Quevi is Yuria, right Orias?
I did Yuria but I never found the Deathtrap, and it says the medal is possible to miss...Anyone knows where the Deathtrap is found? I really feel like I skipped a part...

Oh! The Deathtrap is in present time of Esrarch Tower, but the puzzle has changed in it.

Does anybody know the location of the 3rd Tumbleweed in Yuria? It's starting to get really tedious trying to explore the cavern searching for it when I have to keep on restarting from the beginning because of one-way portals.

Yeah look for the portals that move in the opposite or slower direction
it's last location is in the castle...

Damn!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK. Damn!
So....these three zombies I have to get through to talk to Olias(?)....I am hitting them with hits over 50 each time over and over and not one of them have died AND I was wiped out! How many HP do these buggers have anyway?

I warned you those Remains are like 3 minibosses focus all attacks on one remain, please keep your party strongly healed, and use fire moves to kill them fast! Also they are undead foes, and undead monsters have high as creamy pudding hp, but crazy weak to fire or holy, if Orias made them weak to that element!

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

I would like to add that Whalemage can indeed be paralyzed! At an low chance, but once he's paralyzed you will have a long advantage in the fight. Make sure Oruba knows bang that spell rules in this miniboss fight.

Equiping a poison spike can also help out poisoning your foes, I recommend Melody to use that weapon.

Dragon Quest: Legacy of the Lost

Great progression, I say! Things are looking extra crispy here, now then I shall say good luck to those playing on this cycle of apples!! =D

I need to ask: Is there anything I can do to prevent Thunder Roar from being used? Or anything I can equip or cast to prevent the effects of the earlier one?

For those who have played the game to the end, you can figure where I'm stuck ....

Remember each demon lord has a super attack, just remember to attack them normally, and not with the elements that they use. Be careful about them, they haven't given up just yet...

And rings with elemental resistance or the spell effect of resist will not protect you from a demon lord's super attack.

Is there any reason Olian didn't stick around in my party after we took care of things in Bariden?

I mean, I thought we really had a good bro-bond going there!

Hmm, you want him to join you for good? Complete more of the game till you meet another priest who knows him well, his brother. Then return to Bariden again, speak to the big cheese of Bariden and you'll get him. =D

(Warning!!!) A tough battle if your lowlvled to get him awaits you, good luck!! =P
