And then you got those people who start off being "nice and friendly", and then because of consistent trolling/flaming and such they become so toughened by the experience that they're labeled "assholes" or "bitches" themselves because they have become a product of a vitriolic atmosphere. I kept hearing about Allods being a WoW clone so i gave it a shot, Sure it looks like WoW but I find it much more fun (and the fatigue system and the massive amount of quest almost remove grinding all together), Besides WoW doesn't have an intro like this.

Strange thing is I enjoy Warhammer and D&D video games but laugh at the idea of the tabletop version (yes I know the Tabletop versions came first) Funnier thing is a have a large collection of Warhammer characters (the ones you have to paint and shit) but I only got them becuase they look cool

This is true, but what about encouragement? We go on and on about the merits and necessity of taking criticism and jabbing and all that, but when someone says "But what about positive encouragement and kind words and helping each other become better game makers, especially the newbies?" everyone just sort of falls silent.
You learn more from failures then from success, if you can't handle the road towards improvement then other people won't bother to help.
