Luxaren Allure

Is the tidal maze only about 2 items? The 1 minute long one after you open with the secret key. I tried doing it many times but i never get to see the northwest part of the map.

Silent Insanity 2

Mega apparently has a max download limit now, and it's less than the full game, what now?

It Moves

As soon as i saw the bed shaking part, i remembered the creepy pasta. It was sad because i already knew what was going to happen.

Goatchild: Nightmare

Seriously... Wow... It's like you tried to put a TPS on a rpgmaker. The problem is that the dificulty is mixed with restricted controls, it's like trying to play Dark Souls on PC with a laptop mouse pad. On the same note, i do play Dark Souls on keyboard, and it's impossible for me to use strong attacks without being extremely vulnerable (try pressing shift+ctrl+W+A at same time without being able to miss).

I believe any problem regarding difficulty and control frustration should be solved with a joystick compatibility, BUT, i have no idea if it works on rpgmaker or how much work it would be needed, i am, after all, only a noob speaking what comes to mind.

Otherwise, the game is promising, the dark atmosphere is awesome, it goes perfectly with the heroine's fighting style. I can't really pinpoint it, but the game has something that makes you try harder, and it's rare. If this really is just a demo, please finish the game, if well polished, it can be a masterpiece used as reference. If you are not confident about scripts or artwork or whatever, you can always use social media or even go to universities' clubs and ask for help.

Any games you played that you feel you had to spread the word?

I recently got into rpgmaker games, i played many awesome titles translated by vgperson, or just have a link on his site, like The Witch's House, Capella's Promise and Hero and Daughter, most of the games are very good and i recommend, and some time ago i found this site and downloaded some games like Homework Salesman, Touhou Wandering Souls and Desert Nightmare, but i'm having a bad time finding new stuff that fits my taste, i just hate excessive griding and for some reason i keep finding games that require it. By the way, excessive grinding means you need 1k exp per level, monsters give 50 exp and you need 4 levels to be on par with normal monsters, and yes, there are a lot of games with that mechanic.

In light of that, are there any games that you feel like worth mentioning? I will start with some i feel like i have to mention (i'm sorry most are not from this site, but the world is big, and i certainly might have overlooked some games from here due to lack of knowledge, which is the point).

Story wise, i would recommend Capella's Promise, a really big game with good plot and great equip system. Seraphic Blue is also very good, but the story is filled with filler dialogs and if you have bad luck, a normal enemy can kill your entire party before you can do anything.

Fun wise (fun doesn't mean HAHAHAHA forever #jokergas), i would recommend Hero and Daughter, big game with an innovative story filled with easter eggs from the same creator and funny moments, it's japanese so beware of revealing clothes.

Gameplay wise, i recommend Touhou Wandering Souls, a hack and slash/plataform isn't new, but this one is one of the best, even for touhou standards, too big though, you get somewhat bored before the end, but it refreshes with the new characters, a must play for fans of Touhou.

Horror wise, The Witch's House really is one of the best (even among 3D horror games), it has good atmosphere, some jumpscares that induce panic, but don't try to get the true ending... Ignorance is a bliss. Seriously, if you look for it on youtube, you might not even play the game at all, which is sad.

Sorry for the long post, but i tried to be very detailed. Again, i'm a noob on the rpgmaker world, so i didn't get the feeling of it yet.

What is your favorite Easter Egg in an RPG Maker game?

Are games not from the site included? Because the only game i sawin, and laughed really hard whenever i saw them, was on Harem Collector, the game is just full of them, if you tone down the hentai stuff, the jokes are really funny.

Boutalles

magna might have steped over the line, but there is a point. A JRPG game shouldn't be "hard" as in the enemies in your level can instakill your entire team with a skill combo. It's not about skills, it's about luck. Which leads to excess grinding, and overall you end up bored and resorting to cheat engine. Challenging games are good, but in Dark souls you can dodge, on Touhou you can dodge, on any ARPG you can dodge, on turn based JRPG you can't dodge.

Will download the game to see how it is anyway.

Homework Salesman

I recently got into rpgmaker games and downloaded this game and really enjoyed it, untill the moment I had to restart everything because Linus disappeared, couldn't find him anywhere even on rainy days.

I know the game is "old", and i really like games with crafting like this one, it's well made even though it has variety over quantity, but i feel like i had to get some things off my chest. The grinding is annoying because it's there to mask the game, what i mean is, you take what? 10 hours of grinding to finish Colorous Cave? Because you need to farm all the equipment and level up everyone to survive 2 normal attacks from a normal enemy skeleton. It exists because there aren't many dungeons, the game masks lack of content with excess grinding, so you end the game with 100+ days instead of 20-30.
