Youre allowed to have an opinion on me. Youre allowed to hate me. You're allowed to be angry with me and insult me. But it's not a good idea to blatantly SHOW that negativity, especially to this extent, because then others will feel that negativity, and I don't think that's what you want. Of course I'm going to get defensive if you're going to direct that negativity towards me.

I'm not generalising, I'm associating you with her - because that's how the human mind works in order to view people as separate entities from each other - by making connections of a person with things that stand in as differentiations from others.

For example, I associate kentona with Heroes Realm, Star Trek (especially Picard), RMN and Canada (also, hockey). That's not all that he is, of course, but when I see his name one or some of these jump into my mind as identifiers.
On the flip-side, when I see these things I may think of him.

When I see your name I think 'guy who likes that lipstick lady', 'that bomb thread', 'advertising that game for someone else' and a few other things, but the first and biggest impression is the first - 'oh, that guy who likes that lipstick lady'.

It is natural human psychology to do this - you might as well ask the sun to stop shining. FFS, it's not rude - it's fucking normal. :/

And I'll watch my words as I like. It's not up to you to tell people on this site to talk one way or another - you're not a mod and thus have no power to do so. If someone goes overboard then a mod will step in. Until then you are free to report a post you feel might be breaking the site rules, but that is all.

Lastly, I never said you were obsessed with her or worshipped her or whatever bullshit you're trying to read into what I wrote. Chill, dude, because, with the way you're acting atm, you ARE coming off as too protective and obsessed. :/

You may see it as associating, but the way you're putting it, it seems much more like generalizing. On the topic of psycology, people also don't think the same way as you, and people will take things in a different way than you. This may not be offensive to you, but it is to me, and since the "lipstick lady" is a comedian, it seems like you're associating things that I say in a comedic way, even if I'm trying to be serious. You're trying to prove your point from your point of view without thinking about how I might feel. "How am I supposed to know what offends you or not?" Well, the only way you'll know is experience, and hopefully this argument contributes to that.

And yes, you are indirectly saying that I'm obsessed with her, saying that I'm her "representative" on the forum and that I "always" make topics about her.
