Succession Review
Oh you didn't have to change your review or anything. I guess I should have made it more clear in the first place.
Thanks again for your time.

Succession Review
Thank you so much for taking the time to review this game.
I would like to note something. This was NOT an older game re-used for a new purpose. I made this game from scratch during the contest. I also decided at the beginning that I wanted to make a game that was under the restrictions for BOTH contests. This was a conscious decision on my part because I thought it would be a neat challenge for myself.
I do apologize if this made it difficult to review.

At the end of the day, this is just one dude's opinion out of many. I don't think this review will keep new players from approaching SSP. There's 6 other reviews that sing it's praises (well deserved praises in my opinion).
@Ronove: I liked the difficulty. I found it refreshing in a world filled with cookie cutter, simple rpg's.

@Biggamefreak: Thank you so much for taking the time to play and review this. I know the gameplay was lacking in the extreme. I'd love to revisit this in the future and fill in the gameplay substantially and will should time permit. However, as you suggest, I also want to move on to a bigger project. Thanks for the encouragement and your time!

Salazar had healing magic (obtained at LV 5 and 12). Lime gained spells at LV's 5, 10 and 15. Also, Zach didn't get Double Attack until reaching LV 3.
I know I didn't make a whole lot of skills/magic but they were there to use. Upon leveling up, did the characters not gain these skills? If so, I did something WAY wrong.
Thanks for your continued comments!

Firstly, I'm sorry it took me so long to comment. I was mulling over the review. It certainly gave me some insight into the problems of the game.
Secondly, thank you Carvonica. I really appreciate you taking the time to review this.
Now, I know I had issues with balancing. I think there isn't any cure for this except practice. However, I have a question concerning this: "Note: There are no skills what-so-ever, except when you defeat the first boss, which isn't needed then". Do you mean the enemies have no skills or the characters? I didn't plan on the characters needing to be above LV 12, so I did not create more than a handful of skills.
Lastly, although I don't think a review needs to be long to be good, I would have liked to know more specifically, the parts that you thought were good and bad. For instance, you say that the strictly RTP music is not a good thing but that it was not badly implemented. In what ways?
Again, thanks for the review and thank you to everyone else for your concern over the review.
PS. Carvonica, you said you chose this game for a reason. I'm dying to know what it is!
