KORMANIRE'S PROFILE

Been an avid gamer nearly all my life. Started from NES and worked my way up from there. Ive played just about all of the RPGs that one could say were ever worth playing. Ive always loved RPGs and even still today cant turn down a good story when it passes by me. If anyone would like me to try out their game (if i havent already) feel free to ask me. Ill also help with any testing anyone might need.

Secret passages are nothing more than "point A to point B dungeoneering" executed in an obtuse manner. They're useful for important discoveries if they're used sparingly, and they're always useful for hiding non-essential treasure chests, but being forced to run your character into walls over and over is no substitute for being forced to solve a thought-provoking puzzle.

This game has plenty of thought provoking puzzles so even if you had complaints about the hidden walls the puzzles can easily back up the argument. This game never really had any dungeoneering issues so most complaints in that area come across as mere nit-picking.

Is there a way to increase the chance or stunning or Frazzling Raimur?

Is there a way to get the recipe for a counter enchantment aside from learning it from a random recipe book?

Thank you in advance.

The most reliable way to deal with frazzle is to have both reniat and ankaba spam it. Make sure one of them is wearing lighter armor than the other so they dont cast it back to back.

And the counter recipe wont do you much good right now because you cant stack them yet.

Lastly, if you feel like your damage is lacking then make sure to get as many upgrade stones on your weapons as possible and get as many boisterous lvl 2 enchants on your armor as you can afford. Also note what kind of weapon ability that you are using because the bow and 1-hand sword have the strongest arts right now.

So will we be able to work with plastic in the game now? It must be a pretty fascinating material for a medieval style society.

Thats right! Just say that it is magic and you no longer have to provide a base of logic for it anymore. Its utterly brilliant and simple.

Thanks for the tips. It gives me an excuse to increase my enchanting skill level.

Np you actually dont even have to level enchanting very much to gain access to fire enchants. The real nuggets in enchanting are the ability boosting enchants. They dont appear to be very impressive but if you get level 2 enchants in 2 to 3 slots per piece of equipment then you can get a very impressive boost. It costs about 200k per character to really deck out with good enchants but it is so worth it in the long run.

Everything except magic spells themselves. So if your weapon ability deals 300% damage and they are weak to fire (200%), then they will take 600% damage from the ability with a fire weapon.

Did you just use steel weapons or did you use a particular enchantment?

If you can get the fire enchant on your weapons you will deal far more damage than before. Make sure to look in the bestiary inside your journal tab. It will list how vulnerable enemies are to what elements. Most enemies in this chapter are very weak to fire with the exception being the last two bosses you fight. They are resistant to fire so with them its actually better to bring a different weapon altogether.

But yeah for MOST bosses in this chapter thunderball + fire weapons = you win

Fortunately the story is strong enough that you can overlook the occasional stun-lock trolling from the random encounters if you are patient enough.

And yeah those passages arent that bad because they help distract you from the normal point A to point B dungeoneering that you do alot of the time. FF4 FTW =D

Help

Yeah they are return trip items but you also have to fight that monster so you couldnt get to those items right now even if you had the bone. There are a few places in the game that you just have to bypass until later but most of them arent gamebreaking or anything.

Help

Its been a while since I played this also but I dont remember having trouble finding it. I just remember having it on my second trip to the shrine. If you are there near the start of the game then dont worry about the bone yet because you wont find it for a little while.
