LDCSTUDIOS'S PROFILE

LDC Studios is the indie gaming company behind Grave Prosperity. Our vision is to bring a new type of gaming to the indie community in an old school kind of way. We want to escape from the realm of platformers, space shooters and top downs that the indie community is accustomed to and remind them of the alternative classic styles that have helped mold modern day gaming. Things like fixed view survival horrors and RPG style interfaces. We aren't "breaking new ground" here, but rather re-discovering an almost forgotten method of play. LDC Studios is big on classic survival horror, but also very partial to modern gaming as well. That's the purpose of our creation "Grave Prosperity" it is an attempt to blend the old with the new to form a sort of hybrid that brings the nostalgia of classic gaming along with the intense adrenaline racing action of modern gaming.
If our efforts are met with a warm reception, we intend to up the anti and step our creations up to next gen quailty to meet the industry standard while exceeding the public's standard.

Grave Prosperity

Does pressing F1 not pull up an options window while the game is running? We are interested to know whether or not this works seeing how we've never gotten a review from a user who didn't have RMXP.

Grave Prosperity

Once you get to the big screen where you can go up to the stairs on the right- don't, go up to the left instead of the right.

You're not the first person to get lost here.

As far as the controls go, did you syn up RMXP's controls at the begining of the game when it prompted you to? Hit F1 and match the controls to the image on screen.

You never made it to the first save point. There are save points scattered throughout the game, along with the occasional checkpoint like the one you encountered in the woods. That's why there is no option to save in the menu.

Thank you very much!

Try not to think of it as a bad thing, we simply wanted to push RMXP's engine's limits while using a minimal amount of scripting to create a visually unique game to the system. Not to say that a 3D engine is out of the question, but for now we're just testing the waters with our title. If this can be achieved with RMXP, imagine what a good 3D engine could do with the same game?

We hear you though. Time and patients, friend.

Thank you Kumada!

Part 1 is finally complete in a fashion acceptable to LDC Studios. But the story itself is just beginning. There are still 3 more parts to come out for Volume 1. Part 2 has been under production of a while and is set to launch this December.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
