The Screenshot Topic Returns

It never occurred to me when I saw this picture the first time, but... this is a hospital, right? How do the poor people confined to wheelchairs get down to the entrance? Aside from that, I think it looks nice! I WILL NEVER HIRE YOU TO DESIGN MY PROPERTIES, THOUGH!

It's simple. You don't treat people in wheelchairs.

@Schwer-von-Begriff
Nice chipset overall, I like it!

Re-introduction!

Aye, I remember the two of you!

Nice to see some familiar faces along with the ones I spotted on the "currently active"-list! :)

Is it bad to add tons of custom stuff?

If the custom stuff serves a purpose, throw in as much as you'd like.

If it's just for the sake of trying to big as big as possible, but little impact on the overall gameplay, I'd recommend sticking to a few but well planned features instead.

Re-introduction!

Hello guys!

I'll quote Ciel (who made a post earlier this month) because it sums up my thoughts exactly:

kind of miss posting here, or the general feeling of what it was like to post in an rm community. is anyone that i know still around? or anyone cool that i don't know?

I used to post a lot over at gamingw.net before it vanished.
I'm also very good at #werewolf ;)

S4D Returns To RMN! Ditching GW In The Process! :)

Oh yeah, maybe I should clear things up by explaining that I didn't mean that RMN is garbage. I just meant that S4D is, and I was happy to see that he left GW.

Excellent, keep the garbage here.

I will help you prove your point by not banning you. :)

Saying what's on your mind gets you banned? Sorry S4D, RMN isn't the place for you either.

Of the consoles you own, which is your favorite?

My favorite will always be the SNES. It was such a huge step from the NES and had quite an impact on me when I was younger. It also had some of the best games ever made so... SNES, easy choice.

Hard Parts of Game Making?

Hardest? Uh... the hardest part is probably to make the game interesting. Something that might appear to be enjoyable for me might not be to anyone else that plays it. It's easy to look at your own game, be proud of what you've done and expect everyone else to think the same but only after a while realizing that it's pretty poor gameplay overall.

My biggest issue is the 'fillers' that you have to insert between events of the game. Random battles are frown upon and for people like myself that are no hardcore coders, what do you do?

Your opinion on RTP

RTP never really bothered me. I find those graphics to be somewhat charming, it reminds me of when I first started out. The RTP stuff isn't ugly or anything, it's quite simple and easy on the eyes. The main issue that I have with RTP is that a tremendous amount of people use it, making their games look like 100 other games.

As for XP and VX, can't say I've used it but I have already grown tired of VX's stuff because of the size and how blocky it appears to be. I personally prefer more pixelated stuff, something both XP and VX lack.
