Yeah, like is there some kind of audience out there who digs waiting for the text to stop crawling? Good writing adds dramatic effect, not annoying text boxes. I do not know why people like me and Stedar bother because link is just going to brush off opinions like dirt...


Actually I take into account everything anybody says but the text speed isn't the most important thing on my mind right now. I'm more focused on story, battles, and characters. You can always press shift to speed things up for yourself. And auto-close is done for a reason so all you can do is just sit back and watch really. That's what cutscenes are.

Like I said, if it's not for you then don't play it. If slower text speed makes a game unplayable for you then I guess my game isn't right for you. I think story and gameplay are more important than text speed. I understand how everyone feels about it....but it would take too long to fix...the text speed isn't that slow...and you can speed it up by pressing shift.

And that goes for everyone who doesn't agree with the text speed. If it really bothers you that much, and you don't care for story or anything else about a game, then don't play my game. It's simple as that, I think we're all mature enough to understand that concept.

Thanks for continuing your LT! And thanks for finding that glitch in Temeri, behind the mayor's house. Gonna go fix that! Also, you would've HATED the previous version of Temeri. It was probably double the size and a lot more...blocky.

That actually might be a good idea. If you want, you could go into the game and just drop its HP to 0. that way at least you can get past it.

Hm....I wonder why it' keeps messing with you. Try and level up Skylar and Haru one level. That might be the difference in beating the boss. Also, save Trance's magic until you can't deal any damage with him.

Lmfao!! Hey YDS, thanks for attempting my game in your "Let's Try"! First off I just want to say that even though you struggled with the game, I did enjoy your play-through xD. It was quite funny even though you were dealing with a lot of flaws in the game itself.

I APOLOGIZE for that first boss battle. I've received a lot of feedback on him and my battles in general, and I am currently reworking the stats of ALL of my monsters. I definitely made that boss waaay too hard, especially for a first boss. I have some great ideas for the battles so I can assure you that all the issues with the battle system will be addressed and have been noted, as Deckiller has mentioned as well. He is definitely beatable, but he's not supposed to increase his armor that much...idk why he did! Bad luck I guess. Again, I apologize for your struggles.

As for the text speed, long intro, etc etc...that will all remain the same. Actually, I'm reworking the intro right now. The length will remain the same, but I think you're right with throwing all those terms at the player so early. Yes, they will all be refereed to later on in the game, but spreading them out more is definitely a good idea.
Also...and maybe you'll kill me for this...but there IS a sprint button...I've had a lot of people tell me they didn't know there was one until later on...so I'm adding a small "tutorial" in the beginning of the game to let the player know there is a sprint button.

I just want to let everyone know that I've received a lot of feedback, both positive and negative and I am taking it all in. I don't disapprove negative feedback, I just ask that you make it constructive, because I'm open to ideas and what people think I can do to better the game. However, there are certain things that I just will not change, because of my own personal choice, but when it comes to playability and difficulty actually playing the game, then I'm all ears.
I'm working hard on fixing ALL of the mistakes that made this demo so unattractive, and I really hope you take another crack at this once I fix everything up, YDS. I'd say try it one last time with the demo you have now, but you might already be fed up with it lol. There is a ton of game left, and I think Deckiller said it..or maybe nobody did, but the game does get better as you play it. But right now my mission is to make that true as SOON as you play it.
So before I make this too long...yeah...thanks again for trying, and I'm sorry again for the faulty boss haha.

Yeah i gave it 2 stars, I usually sum up the score and make that my star amount but in all honesty I didn't feel like it deserved 3 stars. Plus, why is everyone getting so uptight because of my negative review? Am I not entitled to my own opinion? I gave NicoB's game a good review because I liked his game. I'm not going to give a game a good review just because I feel bad. As game makers we should all be able to take criticism good and bad.

Calunio: Welp? And what are you talking about dude? You knew it was going to be a negative score? Look at my review for Forever's End. Yeah I've received negative feedback but I've also received an extreme amount of positive feedback. If you did your homework you'd know that. Like I said this review wasn't personal it was my honest opinion. Maybe you should know what you're talking about before you go off making assumptions.
