Master of the Wind

What an excellent game. Just finished it and I really, really liked it. The problem is that now I'm craving for more, lol. Great story, great dialogue, great soundtrack (loved the Artagel and the Bones' flashback songs), very nice puzzles, all really superb.

The only sort of negative point I would raise would be that the game's difficulty is not very balanced. I've read some people said it was difficult before, so that was changed, but what happened was that it starts a little difficult, then it slowly becomes easy, then very easy, and towards the end of the game, it goes back to being a little more challenging, but not very much. Some bosses I would take out in 3, 4 turns, with no sweat. Oh, and battles are somewhat slow and repetitive too, too many encounters.

And the only other thing is that, while I loved the soundtrack, I don't know if the Within Temptation songs fit in well. But that may be because I'm a fan of the band, lol, I don't know how others reacted to it.

All in all, I hope you guys plan to create more games. :D

Forever's End

Just finished Episode 1. Very good game, NicoB, well done. Don't mind some hollow criticisms, do continue working on this game as you have, it's turning out great. Now, what I think.

Dialogue is good, not great at times, but it works most of the time. Original artwork is great, especially for the scenes... but it must be said that Slade looks like an old frail woman. So that's not very cool. Oh, and Elise has spooked eyes.

I see you're getting some original music and that's great. The music you're using is not bad, but easily recognizable. Many of them are from Shadow Hearts (which seems to also influence the story) and I don't think they really click with your game. And I don't mind the file size, I mean, c'mon, we're in 2012 (almost there), computers can store so much data now.

Sometimes the characters seemed too weak for the monsters, so this was a bit annoying. But all in all, battles are ok. It turned out interesting how every character has his own skills and traits, but it was a bit tiring near the end to play from so many different points of view.

And as for the story, it's not very original, but it doesn't have to be. Many people don't get that, and they try to do something different in their games and that doesn't work well. Your story works, it's flowing well, and I'm anxious for the rest.

A BLURRED LINE v2.1

Well, it's pretty clear to me that Lys86 created something greater than himself and couldn't finish it up. It would be very hard to give a good ending to this game, considering all that was done before. Creating an intricate and interesting story is hard, but to close it well is much, much harder. I think this helped to make this game somewhat legendary. People will always remember how great it was and wonder how it could have ended.

Beautiful Escape: Dungeoneer

I played it and, besides being f* up, my only criticism is that it's too short. It could be much, much deeper, and much, much longer. You could have explored more other Dungeoneers, the whole history of their organization, the twisted love relationship and stuff. That's why I think this game deserves a sequel, although I understand your wish to not do it.

That said, what a game. It's wrong for all the reasons in the world, but it calls you in. You play it because you want to see how far it goes and then you feel bad that you went that far, though respecting the game ever more. I'm happy to see a fellow countryman can make such a creative game. Parabéns!
