Hey, nice game! Im stuck on a certain part though
When, being in the house and after activating a secret panel in the protagonist´s room, there´s a switch that deactivates on a certain time, but ¿what am I supposed to do while is active? I been searching around for secret doors or locked doors but I can´t go after that
By the time I played, I like the way the character´s decision seem to create differents part of the story, love this kind of interactive games! And the screamer part wasn´t so bad, maybe a little confusing with the puzzling but was ok either way, was hoping something worse xD, hopefully I can achieve a good ending!
This should help you.
You should search the rooms on the ground floor while the switch is active .

I think a mix of both would be good. There will be lots of creatures and beings in the future, so many ways to die... xD When the tension rises and you get scared, but the payoff in the end is not scaring me than that moment is wasted in my opinion. Like for instance.
I played Akane yesterday and I really loved it! The moments when I felt the tension rising, like when you need to hide under the couch, were awesome! I got caught the first time and I thought someone would run after me or punish me for failing, but the tension was taken away by the threat appearing slowly and talking to me. That as what took away the scary factor for me.
It seems we both are doing the opposite thing, when it comes to scares xD. I think a good mixture of both would be best. :D
Btw, would you like me to review Akane?

author=ExtremeDevelopmentauthor=LyrahelSure I can XD Thanksauthor=ExtremeDevelopmentWould love to hear some feedback from you ExtremeDevelopment. How long did it take to finish the game for you? What did you like the most and least? Now you can't double post. XD
Ah, thank you so much! I didn't know I needed the candles.
The game is REALLY REALLY good(I really really really really really really like this and I want it to want me to play chapter 2). Like I meantioned before I love all the references everywhere like DerpyDie, Nokika(I don't understand why MC doesn't use it to kill the monster) and my personal favorite, -to be continued-
Just kidding. By the way unless there is Walmert in act II I'm never playing this again. The characters were a bit dumb. I mean why would you keep exploring the basement even though you just saw a goblin?
The final chase was a bit hard(thank god there was map of the place in the parallaxes folder)mainly because there were a lot of dead ends and ''the rake'' was fast as fuuuuuuuuuu.
The game had some very unique puzzles. I don't think I've ever seen a puzzle where you have to put the wine bottles so that both shelves weigh the same in other games.
At times it got frustrating and you didn't know what to do, such as when I needed the candles. I also got stuck in the beginning of the game because I didn't think of waiting in line in the post office. XD
The music was also great, but mainly because I'm a chicken I couldn't hear it well(because my volume was like at 5% and in the basement I muted it completely after the first jumpscare).
Instead of popping a bunch of scary faces at the player, I think instead you could make some better jumpscares. Just a recommandation for act II, you should try using less jumpscares and focus a bit more on the athmosphere.
There is a nice story behind it and so far it is a lot better than most horror games I played recently. I am really looking forward to act II.
Also the way you named the chapters are also very cool.
***Edit***
Oopps I forgot to answer you questions.
Finishing time: 1 h 53 m
Most: Graphics
Least: That there were so many jumpscares
Interesting. xD Thank you for the feedback! :D I will consider your words for the next act. :) I need to put a disclaimer in the description because of the jumpscares. Did you know that you can beat the game without getting jumpscares? xD You just don't have to die. :P They are not cheap jumpscares, they always have a purpose. xD I think so... at least. :D I will try to find alternative ways to use scares. The atmosphere is supposed to be one of the stronger points of the game anyway.
Thank you so much for your words. :)

This is what you have to do:
You need candles and a flashlight. The flashlight is in the bedroom in the nightstand. The candles are in the Workspace on the 3rd level. You will have to take the stairs to get there. After that Meja will go into the kitchen.
Vigiles Lucis
Oh. Is she walking around with you? If yes, then just explore the house. Look around for lightsources.
Vigiles Lucis
If you can't find the fusebox, Meja might be a good spot to go to. :)
