RPG maker 2003 cut scene help
In the data base make your Hero's sprite blank and then set your starting point then when you want him to appear in event commands click on change sprite association and choose the sprite you want.

Thanks I have been think more towards VX because I see more of it and it's REALLY easy to find and download but is there any differance between VX&XP

With one of my games I want to have advanced systems or simple ones that get your attention but with RM2K3 I don't want to take FOREVER and stress over it.And latley I've been wanting better graphics. Overall would it be smartest to switch to VX or XP

I think he means the equivalent of Cherry's larger charset patch. Can't help though. What part of your game "desperately" needs a larger charset?

There is the char expand patch for rpgmaker 2000 but there's also one for 2003 and I'm despetly needing it

First off, you dont need to hold down your power button. Try using Ctrl+alt+del, or your windows key.
Secondly, you have to import them using a certain techinque...I'm lookin in the forums for the tutorial but i can't find it. Basically what i did was directly uploaded my pictures to the Enterbrain/RPG2003 folder, so it'd show up for any/all games.
Your second problem, i can't help you with however. Do you have anything specific that isnt default in the project?

I can't import any thing all it says is ????C:\ProgramFiles\Enterbrain\Rpg2003\Project\Project1\Chipset\notern plainsss.png???????? and whenever I go to test play screen goes black and I have to hold down my power button.
