Actually I think it was just the fact the roles were split into two categories: mafia and town. I figured they couldn't be mafia if they were one of the roles listed under town. (Except for an event in which the mafia mastermind turns them mafia).

But some of the roles have oddly specific wording. Like the acrobat ,"Unable to be targeted by any abilities save for nightkills or attorney powers". Attorney powers would only kill some one if they were mafia. Unless of course it was going to be a mislynch, which is probably what that meant. It could be taken either way though. I think?

Now, I may be over-thinking this but does this mean that Mafia was chosen from those who have a role already? That is, that roles were passed out then Mafia was taken from those roles? Because if so that would mean just claiming a role wouldn't stop you from being Mafia - so even if LockeZ was a guitarist, that wouldn't preclude him from being Mafia.

I was thinking the same thing, but I think I read something later in the OP that made that seem unlikely. I'll check for it tomorrow as it is 2 AM.

I was simply voicing the opinion that on day 2, it's time to start seriously focusing attention on our lurkers and getting them active, and if we can't do that, start analyzing their scum potential. I don't think scum would make a boner like accusing the prosecutor, so you're definitely reading town to me.

Yeah guys, where are the usual death threats to get me to actually post. I want to be backed into a corner and forced to speak. (so I can word something wrong and get myself lynched like I love to do so much.)
