Hired Sword

It would be good to let us know right away who will start each battle, before placing the characters. There isn't as much strategy in placing your characters if you don't know who's going to start that battle. With some of the maps (like the skinny bridge map, or the vegetable garden map), it makes a huge difference with how you'd want to place the characters.

Hired Sword

Is there any way to know whether you or the enemy will start any given battle? It seems random as far as I can tell, and it's impossible to place the characters very well when I have no idea who's going to get the first turn.

At Last Alone: Rescue at Moranthia

My comments are about the ending, so hiding, in case someone's reading.

It was rather sporting of Talutah to not just set the heroes on fire along with everyone else. I'm actually not sure why she didn't just do that.

Speaking of which, did all those people die? There was never any indication of those burning people getting "cured," or anything. So with no people and no rulers, I guess this kingdom is gone forever?

And I dunno', I kinda' felt bad for Talutah, too. I wouldn't have felt bad if she just died normal in battle, but for her power to just devour her at the end, and just left screaming in pain. Though at least her husband got off scott free. Yay? For all of Talutah's power, Crendathien seemed like the one who was pulling the strings, so it seems unlikely he's not going to try something in the future. May not be this same kingdom, but somewhere, at least.

It sounds like Helen and Alice have some history. But are they friends who fight a lot, are they friends but Alice just teases Helen more than she should, or is Alice a genuine bad person who victimizes Helen? We really didn't see enough interaction between them to really tell.

I'm also curious about Victoria. Once we know the truth, we will regret saving her, but we never did find out anything at all about Victoria. In fact, her ending felt the most tragic of them all. If there's something more sinister to her character, it really didn't come across at all in the game.

Really, I enjoyed the game, but in the end, I felt like I didn't really know these characters very well. I wanted to get to know them better. The choice at the end of the game would feel more meaningful if it we really got to know these characters. It feels like we only got little bits and pieces. I like the game, but I felt it could've been more =)

Memories of Elefee

I can beat the first group of water monsters OK, especially if I get lucky with their silencing spell. For now, thank you for letting me know that it's OK to not go through extreme grinding to beat the second group, though.

When I try to take a bath, I get this error, then the game shuts down:

Script 'Sprite_Picture' line 54: NoMethodError occurred.
undefined method 'width' for nil:NilClass

Memories of Elefee

Is it worth leveling up to a point where I might be able to beat the water monsters on the boat, or does the game end no matter what at that point? Because I do not see any way of beating those things without some serious grinding on my part.

After beating the vampire, the lag in the game got really severe. Also, trying to take a bath at any time crashes the game for me.

Poor Neccia. Everyone's so mean to her. Both before the game, and Risa and Seyi, too. I get why they don't fully trust her, but still... poor Neccia.

Emilia was pretty awesome. Just so bratty, but still, kinda' feel bad when Risa and Seyi almost don't even care when she's taken.

No idea if the random cat girl is important or just a running gag, but she's been enjoyable either way.

Still wondering about obvious things, like where the real princess is, and if Risa's mother cares where her daughter is (or maybe time isn't really moving in our world).

Anyway, it's all just really enjoyable.
