I recommend against using grass -> water as it just makes it look bad. If you could edit the tiles, then that'd have been good to just fix that but I bet you can't. If I remember correctly it was taken from an interior in Dragon Quest.
Anyone doing so might want to consider making a sort of moat or making it look entirely man made instead of natural as the lack of transition makes it look very squarey otherwise.
Yeah, I got to thinking about that last night. I'm used to working with more natural tilesets for the most part. Fixing it right now.

While I'm not very experienced with the maker itself, I did some okay maps a few years back. It probably won't be anything spectacular, but I think I'll enter just to see if I can still do anything decent.

I can see that you're a prudence.
I'm not sure it's a matter of him being a prude. It seems more likely he's just concerned about site rules. Like I've said, I'm new here, but it's very likely this would need removed if it were against the rules.
I did look it up and it says that pornographic content is not allowed. I can't really say what is considered pornography here, but I'm going under the assumption that nudity doesn't automatically equal porn.
In any case, if staff has already approved your game, then we can assume you're good here. But I think MrBick was just asking, not really meaning any harm by it. It's natural to raise questions when seeing something you might think is breaking a rule.
Again, if it's already approved, then we can assume there are no rules being broken. It's just a matter of not being sure, I think.

author=Doom_BloomerIt's possible it's an error with triggers. I've had that happen a few times actually. Check to make sure the trigger is set to player touch and not action button(or something along those lines). That usually ends up being what fixes things like that for me.
You know, I was going through it, and the glass is supposed to flash the hero red. I wonder why it never worked?

I was actually going to do that, with the glass and all, but I totally spaced it. How would I go about "patching" it? In case I want to, you know, "fix" things.
As far as I know, all you can really do is go back and open the project in RM2K3 and edit the events on the glass shards(adding the sound effects and such) then reupload with the changes.
But aside from the game I'm working on now, I've only ever made one(incomplete) game in the past, so I'm still pretty green. I'd ask someone more versed in RPG Maker just to be sure.

I think my only real issue is the glass. I know you mention from the start that stepping on it hurts you. But I think it would be made more apparent and give the player more of a feel for the fact that Eric has been damaged if there were some sort of sound. Possibly an accompanying flash of red as well.
Not really necessary. It is your game. And it is something a lot of games do. I just think it could add to the game in a small, but signifigant way. :)

I love what I've played of the trial so far, but for some reason, when I try to save it gives me an error and shuts down the game window.
You would need to open the game folder and then create a new folder in it, then name it "Sav". This should work.
