Hi. I got nostalgic about RM and my site and found this thread via Google. I know Monkey Productions is mentioned in the OP as being down and having some games at some point. It is true it was down, but technically has been back up for a while, just severely broken and I'm too lazy/busy to fix it since it's not worthwhile anyways. http://monkeypro.net/games.php
None of the games are up, due to storage. But I do have everything that was stored on the site. I know a few people have found ways to reach me and get stuff I had on the site site before.
Anyways, if anyone wants anything I have I joined the official Discord group so you can find and DM me there (Monkeydog189).
I just wanted to make the offer in case anyone ever comes across the site and becomes discouraged because of a broken link.

Favorite videogame world.
Bringing back Azure Dreams...I really always wondered what was beyond Monsbaiya. The whole world the game existed in seemed ripe for exploring. It's a shame that game never received a sequel.
Another series that deserves a sequel (at least a good one) is Lunar. That world was always my favorite when I was a kid. Just something about how beautiful the visuals were in that game stuck with me.
Other worlds I like:
Final Fantasy VI/VIII/IX
The Chrono world as a whole (Trigger, Cross, Dreamers)
Morrowind
Fallout (except the Capital Wasteland in 3 is pretty boring)
.hack (I guess there's nothing very interesting actually in the playable world of the game, but I feel like the whole idea behind the world .hack exists in and everything about it is super interesting. I don't know if that even made sense.)

Movie Suggestions...
Just randomly suggesting movies I like:
Old Boy by Park Chan-wook. Probably one of my favorite movies ever. For sure my favorite Korean movie. It's really gritty and has a lot of action fueled by vengeance. The ending is really great. Part of it is very predictable...while part of it is really unpredictable. If that makes sense. (it'd be easier if I just said spoilers but I won't.
The Fall by Tarsem Singh. This movie is absolutely god damn beautiful. It claims to have absolutely no CGI too. Which makes it even more amazing. It's very fantasy genreish. But I think it's worth a watch just to admire how remarkable some scenes are, even if as a whole the movie may kind of fall apart, especially towards the end.

Hello everybody, I am Monkeydog (or Kenneth, if you are going on what 99% of people call me).
I like people, places, and things!
I'm not really a newbie to game making, or RPG Maker, or any of the jazz. I'm just a failure at having motivation to do anything with it. I haven't really posted on a forum that isn't my own in a while but I decided it may be fun to post here. But I used to post on just about every forum in existence, waaaay back in the day, so some of you may know me and already love/hate me.
Anywho, if you have any questions for me ask me and I shall answer. Otherwise encourage me to post lots! Just as the forum description says.
