Well I'm a first time RPG maker user and is just Interested in everything that has to do with game making. Scripting, music editing, mapping, sprite creation, everything. I don't however know much just trying to learn as much as I can. Using RPG maker VX ACE, and with that hoping to make good emotional games, I'm a video editer so I'm trying to make my games like a movie with of course game play. Hopefully it all works out.

Scripts usually confound me as well, but I'm probably trying to figure them out them as a whole rather than a step-by-step process. Though, I did manage to make a small-ish script once! I considered it a baby step to learning what I can really do with the engine. Or, something like that.

I will and actually i'm working on something i may put up not sure thou. I have a goal haha i downloaded the trial for VXAce cause i'm thinking of buying it. I still have about 21 days left, my goal is to make a simple RPG and post it before the trial is over to see what you guys think haha you know??

Sweet thanks man. what about tiles or scenery like tree and such can i also make them in those as well?? Oh and another question what about the animation of them like say i want them for battlers or moving around in the world??

What programs do you need to make sprites. I'm like trying to get into everything and would love if anyone could help me with the sprite portion of RPG making.

Yeah you guys are right Evermore was awesome haha I loved the dog haha, I also think that it was harder than SoM, I also agree about the magic system having to do alchemy was pretty cool.
Logic in games - where do you draw the line?
In saying that I do agree with the whole barging in the house thing most people would really be mad at that haha, but maybe you can unlock certain doors by making friends with the people that are outside the house that live there you know. Like help kill a monster or if you wanna get realistic helping someone with the groeries haha you know and the door unlocks. I don't know just throwing out ideas.
