The Divine Comedy. It's interesting so far, though I feel at certain points some aspects are going over my head...

if it ain't baroque don't fix it
EDIT: Actually I gave that game a try too. Dungeon crawlers are so weird. It doesn't feel like there's ever much progression. I mean, I'm being rewarded with story information from dying?

Our high school colors are black and yellow. We played that song in the halls once on a football Friday (gameday gametime rumblerumble). But the principal turned it off halfway through because it was too annoying.

That book has been on my to-read list awhile. It seems interesting, but does it actually have any substance besides the wacky structure?

Homophobia aside, I'm reading The Pearl by John Steinbeck. His books are either chill portrayals of impoverished life without too much deeper meaning (Cannery Row, Tortilla Flat, etc) or really blatant portrayals of moral dilemmas (Of Mice and Men, Winter of Our Discontent, etc). Except East of Eden was a good mix of both. This particular work is more on the blatant moral dilemma side, which is still cool, though I prefer the chill ones.

I'm almost done with Drakengard. Now I need another good game that I can play while listening to audiobooks. Maybe The Suffering 2. I'll give my collection a look through.

Kokoro was real cool. Didn't over stay its welcome and seems to be a good summation of a lot of the key themes to Japanese literature. Or at least the stuff I've read. No Longer Human was badass, I remember I read the whole thing in one night. I almost feel like it's an "extreme" version of Kokoro.
Heart of Darkness by Joesph Conrad. I'm reading it for English class. First part was boring and I got frustrated with it, second part was much better, and now the third part is excellent.
