What was the last thing you bought at the time of your reading this?
What, which Solaris are we talking about? I saw the terribly slow-moving Tarkovsky one, and while pretty good was still painfully slow-paced. Like I was dying. And I've got a long-ass attention span.

Tell me how RLH is. I've heard good and bad things about it.
EDIT: Gertrude by Hermann Hesse (on Canuck's recommendation, approximately four months later), Solaris by Stanislaw Lem (movie tie-in version with George Clooney making out with some chick on the cover), The Analects of Confucius, and The Bhagavad-Gita : Krishna's Counsel in Time of War. I'm curious about ancient Eastern spiritualism/philosophy. All together it was about $30.
Oh, and I got The Arabian Nights recently too. :3

I've got Narcissus and Goldmund by Hesse, and I was gunna read that right after I finished this Mishima novel. I gave Journey to the East to one of my buddies and now he's obsessed with Hermann Hesse. I haven't read any yet. >_>

I own Dragons of Eden but haven't read it yet.
Also fighting game looks pretty, but it's also a fighting game, and those tend to be very PRESS RANDOM BUTTONS LOTS.

A friend went up to me a few days ago and asked if he should read The Fountainhead. I said I recommend reading it, but I don't recommend liking it.
