Cutscene help
what everyone else says is good enough info, try not to slow the text right down, this can drag and starts to make the game to dull, move event hero to all the places needed in the cutscene, show pictures, edit tilesets or add panaroma pictures to make a cutscene with effect.
Defiently keep the cutscenes to what they should be about, try to not add to much dialog to it and dont forget that you can move the camera to point to any key elements in the cutscene, dont forget to also freeze the hero so the player cannot control them during the cutscene. Hope some of this helps.

Help with project
I'm not fuly certain if you could rip the graphics from shenmue, not tried it cause i didnt think it was possible. If need to, i'll think of a quick little game that i could make using the rtp to show whatever i can do. I'll have a think of something else to make.

I am in need of help!
I would like to make a sort of shenmue game for the rpg maker 2003 or xp but, there is one problem!
I cannot do graphics and would like to use original stuff is possible.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there that would like to make the graphics for me (I would like
them to look good). This will be my first big project, however, I am not new to the world of rpg maker
and have been making games for years now! Trouble is I have only just got the internet at my house for
the first ever time. So, I am not new and can program the stuff into the game.
I already have the idea of the game but would like some graphics to help me.
There is no money involved as sega own the rights to the game, if you would like to take me up on this
then please either leave a message here or pm me.
Please don;t ask me to upload any of my older games as they were all deleted.

??Event Resetting/ Title Screen??
I could have read this wrong so forgive me if i have, the problem you have may be solved if that after you've spoken to the person and get a quest, you'll need to add another switch to the programming which you can call anything you want, this will tell rpg maker not to reset everything, and with that switch you can also get the npc to say that you've already accepted the quest or whatever.
so basically all you should need is another switch to say that they've accepted the mission and nothing should reset back to standard so long as all the things you dont want resetting know about that switch being activated.

Wanted graphic designer
I have realised since posting that i didnt add all the things that i wanted to say.
Firstly, the person would have to have a passion about what they are doing, the ad i have posted doesnt fully mean as i meant.
The person who would make the graphics would only get paid if the game is good enough to sell, every copy that is sold would make you the money for the graphics, as it stands at the moment, i cant pay people until i can see exactly how the project will work.
The sort of graphics i need is old-ish buildings, forests, pubs, inns, anything that you can draw. I will have a full think about the graphics required and then post again, in the meantime if anyone is interested in helping, taking part or talk about then by all means please do, feedback would be useful.

After having a quick think lol, the one thing i really need at the moment is two tile sets for both xp n 2003 versions, the tilesets i would like is the outside of a big eerie castle and then the inside of the eerie castle wiv dark walls n scary corridors, the castle interior needs to have fancy pictures n decorations. If anyone can do this then ill be happy.

My name is Paul or Pal88 and I have always wanted to make games, the only thing that I lack is the creation of graphics as I'm not the best drawer in the world.
If anyone is interested in helping me make graphics to games that I would like to put out as COMMERCIAL or SHAREWARE then please leave me a private message and i will reply whenever i can.
Currently i do not have the internet at home so may not reply staight away, I need someone who can make some good looking graphics, If interested then please get in contact and ill give you my email address where you can send samples of your work.
If all goes to plan and i can make a game worthy enough to sell then you will get a cut of the money, I would like to also take the time to thank everyone for reading this and hope to hear from some of you soon.
