Dungeon-Crawler a la Etrian Odyssey
Has anyone tried making a first-person dungeon crawler like Etrian Odyssey, the Dark Spire or Wizardry? Is there a engine that could be used to make one?

How do you figure out what each of your character's base stats are? Do you have a rule of thumb or easy way to decide on how distribute stats according to your damage calculation? How do you scale the difficulty properly?

Totally new to VXAce. How to change the damage calculation formula?
Hey, new to the forum, but I've dabbled with RM2K3 a bit. I just downloaded VX Ace and was totally overwhelmed. I'm wondering if someone could direct me a bit in how I would go about making custom damage calculation, critical hit ratio, etc...? If this has already been asked, or is covered in a tutorial I missed, I'd really appreciate if you could link it for me.
