1 Save File in RPG Maker 2003
author=LockeZ
It really doesn't; you can still reload back to before you made the choice if you change your mind.
What I think you ACTUALLY want is an "ironman" mode, where the game auto-saves after every meaningful decision and there's no manual save option. This keeps the player from save scumming, but still lets you start a new game without deleting your old save.
You know Deus Ex?
They're choices like that.
Speaking of DX, I'm gonna go and play that a bit, then continue with my game.

It can have some advantages. I'm playing Fable 2 atm and that game also has 1 save per game. Considering the game is all about left or right decisions, this limitation makes you think about your decisions a bit better.

Except my game's choices aren't just black and white.

Well, with magic you can hit it.
You first make a condition that does 9999 damage.
Then make a skill that inflicts the "9999" condition.
But isn't there a way to let a weapon inflict the condition?

Ok, sorry for that, I shouldn't have a fight with someone who is probably the most useful guy on this site (or on many site, as it seems with you.).
And my avatar is for remembering the cat that got burned by 2 guys.
