Childhood Nostalgia
So I was talking to some friends of mine about anime, and the the subject of our first anime came up. Things got to rolling, and we ended up talking about nostalgia in general.
Everyone has that bit of something that they look back on with fond eyes, either lovingly or bittersweet, and no matter what anyone says about it, those things hold a special place in our hearts. So, let's share some of those things with everyone. Be it a game, anime, toy, particular memory or what have you, there's at least one thing that we look back at with nostalgia goggles, so let's hear it.
For me, it'd have to be my first anime. I guess it didn't help that I really cut my anime tooth on Galaxy Express 999, but even while watching it, I couldn't help but have that poignant feeling.
This is one of the reasons why, too. So what about you? What do you guys find nostalgic?

Japan Time
Yeah, so I'm pretty sure quite a bit of people are totally ecstatic about Super Smash Bros Brawl. So yeah, Japan Time thread is here. I'll try to update it with each day's Japan Time, but you guys can consider it general Smash Bros talk.
June 12 -- Yoshi's Island Stage
Yoshi's Island was awesome beyond belief, so this update is pretty awesome. The style of it is top notch, in my opinion, and the seasonal changes look to be cool.
What do you guys think? Personally, I'm pretty freakin excited for this to come out.
Also, if they add Mega Man, Viewtiful Joe, and Simon Belmont I think I would buy this game three or four times over. I also say that knowing full well that none of the three I just mentioned will probably be in there, but yeah...
