A (hopefully) interesting idea for an RPG

Adventures in Exclastia

Adventures in Exclastia is a new project I've begun to work on. It's a RTP RPG with some interesting custom systems including a CronoTrigger style CBS as well as a CMS developed by ChaosProductions (still working on that...). It features a typical Save-The-Princess story with a twist. In Exclastia, your actions in the early stages of the game will affect what happens to you in the future, leading to several different endings. Even the NPC's you talk to could very well end up showing up later in the game with helpful items/tips.

I'm still working on the CBS, but it's almost finished. Screens should be up as soon as I get about 1/2 way through the project.


Synopsis

A dragon known as Grover seems to have fallen in love with the Princess of Exclastia. He's kidnapped her and locked her up in the highest tower of his castle. As the King desperately attempts to recover his daughter, he sends legions of soldiers to the Dragon's castle, only to see them burnt to a crisp. Out of options, he sends a decree through out the kingdom saying, "Bring me one who can save my daughter!".


Characters

You - You're whoever the heck you wanna be. Taking on the infamous rm2k3 'Zack' sprite, you're either rude, a hero, or both. But remember, your actions determine your future.

Drake - A farmboy you encounter along your travels who claims to be in love with the princess you're trying to rescue. He offers to join you, but whether he does or not is up to you.

Gaines - An ex traveling merchant who's been reduced to an aimless wanderer due to the loss of his job. He figures that if he helps you on your quest to rescue the princess, he'll be rewarded handsomely. Whether he comes with is up to you.

Oh, I do enjoy it here. I used to be at RPGRevolution, but NOBODY EVER SUBMITTED GAMES! There was so little inflow of material that it drove me crazy, so I started coming here 'bout a year ago, and I've been fairly satisfied with this community.

It really isn't.

Haha. Yeah, it does look quite a bit like a dress. May wanna change that.

Just watch. A man with an oversized orange helmet, a custom skill tree, and beautiful custom graphic appearance is gonna show up at your bedside in the middle of the night while a great custom soundtrack plays in the backround.
