DragonBall Z: Saiyajin Legend

East was active on my discord server for awhile he dropped off I believe around the holidays last year... I still talk to Jorge quite frequently.

Such a shame, I was looking forward to this :(

I see you added a new control system, mapping controls is nice but I feel most people end up using pads for these types of games so maybe pick a controller layout and go with it? Xbox or PS4 are the most common layouts on PC today, I took another route and chose the Sega Saturn Controller, Z and C buttons would just be LT and RT on a xbox or ps4 pad.

Wait...THIS WAS COMPLETED?!

Hmm... Sound like Legacy of Goku first, at that III style...
Except it's gonna be better

It doesn't look like the step up from the first LOG game to the 2nd, and III was just a refinement.

The contrast between the sprites and tiles is a bit well... hope to see new tiles in the future :)

To late? probably not, it has been implemented by others through external code before.

i want al-a-mode 7 effects

feed me 20xx

I'm pretty sure this would have to be coded outside the editor, or use some sort of command with the name of the map. Soming like map name.

It would be cool to see RM2k/3 running Mode 7, however because Rm2k/3 has such a low frame rate It would be pretty slow..

I think pixel-movement would be a good idea but I think this would require an external map editor..

One thing that has always plagued rm2k/3 was the fact you get 2 walking animations, many games like Chrono Trigger or Seiken Densetsu will have 4+. So having a way to have customizable charsets would be a great addition.

16X16 isn't too bad but having pixel-movement especially if you're making an action based game would be better.

Though having to recode the map system for rm2k might be a bit of a problem as it's closed source.

It might be easier to just code a new gui for rm2k3 using your own engine, giving rm2k a new look and a better back end. Also gives you more room down the road when you decide to add scripting or give tutorials on where to add such and such if a user needs it.
