I thought I'd share this screenshot from a German game I happened upon a while back. I love the lighting effects and custom tiles.

This idea has the potential to be either the greatest thing ever, or a horribly failed attempt to make the greatest thing ever. Either way, the mere idea just gave me a nerdgasm.

This is far too dark, in my opinion. I understand that you're trying to create a certain mood, but just lighten it a tiny bit so folks don't have to squint while playing.

I don't believe it will bump it up. Also, don't be afraid to "needlessly" bump things. As long as you do something besides make a post that just says bump, no one will get angry. Being on the front page is good exposure, and a new game need exposure. ;)
"Users caught abusing this system" will be removed from the front page. In other words, don't do that!
rpg maker on psp?
Enterbrain released an RPG Maker DS in Japan, but I doubt it will ever come stateside. :/ If you know Japanese, track a copy down by all means.
