The first screenshot is supposed to be just before sunset, so there's candles lit in preparation for nightfall. That bush in the second screenshot is meant to be the overgrown top of a pillar, but it does look like a mapping error.

Lenadia Castle!? There isn't any event remotely related to the airship anywhere near there.

I was able to use it too. I remember we took off and the airship seemed be be going super fast, faster than even its regular speed, and Cid said "we're here" well before I was even in sight of the Life Shrine. The game set me down right next to the other airship, but I was still in the airship, if that makes sense. Also, when I flew back over Lenadia Castle, there was an airship there as well.

Your walls should all be the same height. It makes the house look much more put together. Try making them all two tiles or all three tiles high. Also, try moving that fireplace up one square. It will look better if both parts of it are on the wall.

I think I might be there at this point. Just started having to take battles seriously instead of spamming my most powerful attacks over and over.
