SHOUGATOUKI'S PROFILE

Just a girl learning how to make games and stuff while still balancing out high school and, soon to be, college. I'm working on a little project right now called "Adrift" but I don't think it will be done for a while. ^^;

Health counter on screen?

It's a popular RPG Maker game made last February on RPG Maker 2000. It's about a girl who goes to the art gallery with her parents, only to find that she is the only one there. The paintings then come to life and she has to find a way out. It's personally my favorite RPG Maker game. :D

This is what I was going for, in the top left corner here. The most you can have is 5 and you lose petals as you take damage. When the rose wilts, you die. Here you go!

Health counter on screen?

Hi! :D
I'm having a bit of trouble with creating a health counter on screen for my game. What I'm going for is a health counter similar to the one you see in "Ib" because I would really prefer that over an actual battle screen with all the skills and turns and stuff. I have the pictures ready, I just don't know how to create it on the common event commands. I'm not the best with setting that up so would anyone be able to help me and tell me how to program that to work?
Thanks in advance!

My character won't stop walking...

Ah, it's okay. I don't need help anymore. I changed it so it's not necessary anymore but thank you so much for the help anyways! :D I've only had RPG Maker since August so it's a little bit of a new process for me.

My character won't stop walking...

Oh, sorry. Forgot to say which version. I have XP.
And yes, I was using the parallel process button so I'll try something different. Also, I was using the "Set Move Route" function but I've done that a lot of times, even with a parallel process and still didn't do this... But thank you for the suggestions, by the way! :)

My character won't stop walking...

So, I have a problem that I haven't had before. I tell an event to walk forward one step and just stop and it walks forward, waits, and walks forward again in a continuous loop. It doesn't say "loop" or anything and it just keeps going. Does anyone have an answer to what the heck is going on?

Luchi-chan's Lighting Tutorial.

Oh my god this helps so much!! Even though I have XP instead of VX, I assume a lot of the things still apply. :D And the amount of details in your games! It's incredible! ^_^
