What are you thinking about? (game development edition)
I've been thinking about how, even though it's scientifically possible for a unicorn to exist in our world, We say they're not real because there hasn't been one yet... hmmmm...
But really, I've been thinking of different ways to use actor's stats for different things! Like I want to make a weather system that's based on the combination of nearby planets stats in my game's universe, and use actors stats as a their characteristics, and their "level" as their proximity to the world you're on. Here's an example of the stats, I haven't figured out what to name them in game yet:
And I'd just use some conditional branches like, if all the moduloses (?) end in 7, or if stat A is between 230-430 and stat B is less than 180 then execute effect or something. And I would add/subtract the stats of all the planets, their "positions" (level) would affect how they impact the final value.
I also want to use this for location stats like a city, and it's stats would determine things like, criminals appearing, over population, fires starting, high prices, etc.

2023 Gaming Diary
I was replaying Final Fantasy XIII as well! Arghh I want to explain so much of every aspect of it, it's so pure alien-tier and advanced, It really really the major revelation for me, the story, layers, pacing, gameplay, AI, world design, music, technique/efficiency/application is WAY far ahead, it put me in my place, I would always ask for better games and whatnot but never actually prepare myself for what the even MEANS. Now I NEVER trust my own opinions, and have realized that there's incredible things being made! just not the in way I'm expecting them.
It'll be 169 years before I figure everything out about FFXIII, I really want to explain all the techniques I learned from it, but I feel my fandork ramble bone acting up, maybe I'll put it somewhere else?

I got dreams of a dream game!... like... anyone here I guess...
I guess mainly want to make games more legit rpg systems. battles and exploring aren't a JRPGs only tools for expression! (But they can be really cool too) I'll probably make a canary project first, like a first crack at the loftier games I want to make.
I mega love music, I've scoured the world for every kind... I make it too, my production values/arrangements are really my weak point, I hope once I get that side developed, I can make some royalty free music for people to use, I always just made recordings more for remembering... now I've got thousands of poorly recorded tracks that I can't remember how to play (ugh)
But anyways! I'm in it for the long haul, I'll be kicking around here and get something done

Are those black and red air sharks because that's rad!!.
They're actually dolphins, I tried to make like a red pearlescent glow to them, Which I think looks cool when they're flying around!

I'm not the biggest fan of how the intersections look. That's more of a tile problem I think.
Yeah, I wasn't sure they looked right either, but that's the only "center tile" of the road tiles, Maybe they look fugly cause I clustered them too much?
