RPG 20XX Engine
I agree with Magi that the current UI is not as good as RPG Maker 2003's. It would be worth considering changing it later on. However, you're probably too busy working on other things to make large changes now, so they should be done later in development.
Some things that bother me:
Some things that bother me:
- In the top menu of the editor, some icons are unclear. Why is Import a checkered square, and Database a rounded blue square?
- Having to select a database item in the menu, and then click the "edit" button is inconvenient, especially if you want to make small changes to many items. It would be better to copy RM2K3, with the radio buttons becoming tabs located on top, and enlarging the window so that the edit menu can be integrated into the database menu.
Nocturne: Rebirth (English)
I remember playing blindly through the Japanese version of this, but I gave up since I could not understand the story. Now I'm excited for this translation.
Also, I discovered the game in the first place through an indie fighting game called "E's Laf", which has Reviel as one of its fighters. If you like anime fighters like Guilty Gear or Blazblue, then that game is worth a look.

Ghost Visit
I don't think that removing the ending would be a good idea. All the mysteries that it set up to be resolved in the full version are what made this game so interesting in the first place.

If you're on Windows 7 and above, delete C:\Users\<Your Name>\AppData\Roaming\rpg20xx for a "factory" reset. This folder is somewhere else in Windows XP.
The editor will start blank and you'll have to open existing project/start new project. None of your game projects get deleted by doing the above.
If you open a previous project back up and the editor breaks again, ZIP up and send me that project. Sometimes you have to do a specific thing for the editor to break. If so, try to recreate your steps.
The editor does this if reopened after an internal fault.
That worked. Thanks.

I can't run the editor. When I run it, the icon appears on the taskbar, but does nothing. If I try to run a second instance of it without closing the first one, i get an error saying "Could not find any engine files, check your installation of RPG 20XX".

Will future versions include increment buttons and scroll wheel support for number entry fields? It was convenient to be able to change numbers without having to let go of your mouse. Maybe also that thing where you can drag the mouse up or down to change numbers quickly by large amounts.

But if the cliff grass is an autotile, I can't set direction-specific block for each edge.
Currently, I'm using upper tiles for the edge pieces, but this means I have to use events if I want to have other upper tiles near the cliff edge, which is an acceptable, but inconvenient fix.
(By the way, the tileset going to be my submission for the new RTP. Here's a preview)

Another question: are you going to increase the amount of animated tiles that you can have in a tileset? Because I've been trying to make a tileset with animated grass that has cliff edges, but I can't think of any way to have that without any problems at all that would require less than 9 different tiles, but the current version is limited to 7 animated tiles per set.
